Blog Continued… My blog is updated almost every school
day; however, if the Internet is down or if I am out of school, then it might not be updated.
I do post important reminders and due dates, and occasionally there is homework help.
Also, I have the syllabus for the grading period and the online textbook directions linked for your convenience.

Homework Policies Homework helps reinforce the concepts
taught in class. After the first nine weeks homework must
be completed by the due date to earn credit. Homework will be given almost every night
and must be completed in pencil to earn credit.
Homework is sometimes graded as an accuracy grade, sometimes as a completion grade, but most of the time it is a combination of accuracy and completion.
Pinnacle I try to make sure grades are updated
weekly. Please check Pinnacle frequently (or
have your child check) to make sure you know how your child is progressing in class.
I try to post a comment if a student has to make up an assignment due to an absence or if an assignment was partially completed.
Grade Categories Tests & Projects = 40%
Projects are accepted one day late for 80% credit & two days late
for 70% credit.
Classwork Activities & Tasks= 25% Quizzes = 25% Homework = 10%
Not accepted late unless the student was absent & not accepted in
anything other than PENCIL.
