Shape Practice*Math Challenge: Find 3 things in your house that look like these 3-D shapes! (After the lesson, don’t forget to put them back!)
Telling Time5 minute Intervals:COUNT BY 5’s!Count the numbers by 5’s around the clock starting with 12. Hop to 1 and that would be 5 minutes! Continue to count by 5’s until you have reached the minute hand!
TIP: Count the higher value coins first. If I had 2 nickels and 1 penny, I would count the 2 nickels first (5, 10..) because they worth more. Then I would add the penny (5, 10, ...11).
Math Challenge: How many ways can you make 20 cents?Get some change! Count it up! If you see 20 cents, try making 20 cents with different coins! Instead of two dimes, what other coins can you use to make 20 cents?
