When to Keep Your Student HomeA student should not attend school if they have any of thefollowing symptoms and they should be kept home for at
least 24 hours after the symptoms are no longerpresent and have not required any medication for relief:
Elevated temperature (100°F or higher)DiarrheaNausea/vomiting
If a student comes to school with any of the followingconditions, they may be sent home
(with or without fever):
Cough, if compromising respiratory status.Green/yellow nasal discharge (signs of infection).Skin rashes/sores (can be serious, e.g. impetigo,scabies, chickenpox, or other infections)Pink eye (may have itching and drainage). Unusual fussiness or appearance of discomfort.
These guidelines were adapted from the American FamilyPractice protocols for sick days. Thank you for your

It would be ideal if someone would step-up early in the year so that they are able tosee firsthand how to plan for such an event.Volunteers are needed to help with set-up, check-in, deal cards, distribute snacks,monitor games, help decorate, etc. on the evening of June 4th. IBMYP - Sophomore students are planning the World’s Fair Expo Event. The event itself will beon April 17th, with the set up after school on April 16th. These are the two days after the MLHS
Open House event on April 15th.

The library needs students to apply to be tutors in many subjects.
Tutoring takes place after school for one hour or at lunch for 30 minutes.
