ACADEMIC PLAN:
1. Matrics will write Full Trial Exams in June.
2. Matrics will write the GDE Prelim Exams in September.
3. But they will have to return to lessons after the Prelims to complete their syllabus.
4. The Matric Dance has been shifted to Term 4 and used ruthlessly as a tool to ensure that pupils attend school. Any pupil not attending school will be excluded from attending the Matric Dance. Invitations will only be extended with the permission of Mathematics teachers.

GUIDELINESON MINIMUM CONDITIONS FOR AWARDING A SENIOR CERTIFICATE WITH UNIVERSITY ENDORSEMENT at The University of Pretoria in 2009: in 2009:
The National Senior Certificate, a 130 credit certificate at level 4 in the NQF isissued from 2008. A learner must offer seven subjects (Four subjects from Group A and three subjects from Group B.)The minimum statutory requirement to obtain a university entrance is a NCS certified by Umalusi with achievement ratings of 4 (50 59%) in NCS certified by Umalusi with achievement ratings of 4 (50‐59%) in FOUR 20 credit subjects from both Group A and B. Please note that Life Orientation is a 10‐credit subject.

• It has become rather common to find that parents believe that they have the right to grant their children authority to stay at home.
• Schooling is compulsory until the age of 16 or theSchooling is compulsory until the age of 16 or the completion of the General Certificate of Education.
• Thereafter a pupil may choose to complete Further Education and Training and obtain the National Senior Certificate. Should they do so, they do so only as full time scholars and at the rules determined by the schoolscholars and at the rules determined by the school.
•It is also common for parents to expect the school to excuse them from tests and exams so that they can go on holiday; spend time overseas or do learners and drivers’ licenses. Please don’t try your hand. Universities don’t grant
permission and nor will we.

The Code of Conduct has been adapted to deal with numerous permutations of boisterous behaviour including the disruption of the school day.
Conduct Points will reflect the average during the pupil’s high school career.No testimonials will be issued to any pupil who has over 50 points.Even if a pupil has performed adequately on the sports field, q y p ,on stage or academically, the school will NOT be able to testify on behalf of the pupil if he/she has been a behaviour problem.
