Trailer Check-In

¨ Ensure that trailers are in good working order as they arrive on your premises: Check that the reefer is running and has sufficient fuel Ensure that the trailer has no visible damage

¨ Collect information about trailers as they arrive: Company name Truck and trailer number Trailer (net) weight Number of pallets in the trailer

¨ System maintains inventory of trailers on your premises

Receiving

¨ Receive from your own production facilities or from third-party manufacturers

¨ Ensure that you receive what was ordered by receiving product against: Orders manually entered in the back office Orders downloaded from your corporate ERP ASN’s or EDI’s

¨ Perform QA checks to ensure food safety and quality compliance as product is unloaded Ensure that delivery vehicles are acceptable and in

good working order

¨ Label non-compliant cases and pallets

Movement Tracking

¨ Track the movement of product from one specific warehouse location to another to keep perpetual inventory reports accurate

¨ Optimize storage configurations by using the system to suggest the best storage locations: product grouping, highest turnover, shortest shelf life, fresh or frozen, etc.

¨ Track the movement of cases between pallets: Case transfers between pallets – pallet

breakdown and rebuild Discard damaged product Remove product for QC checks

Order Picking

¨ Ensure accurate order fulfillment by picking against manually entered or automatically downloaded (from ERP) sales orders

¨ Real-time validation for each order or customer: Manage over-picking and short-shipping Control product substitutions Pick product based on remaining shelf life

Reconciliation

¨ Sub-divide warehouse into zones and use multiple operators to reduce the overall reconciliation time

¨ Review reconciliation results upon completion, manually correct any omissions or errors

¨ Improve inventory accuracy - reports detail current and historical inventory accuracy and allow identify and eliminate errors in the future

Trailer Check-Out

¨ Loaded trailers are treated as temporary warehouse inventory locations – product is not removed from inventory until trailer is successfully checked out

¨ Collect and store trailer information: Reefer temperature and fuel level gross weight seal number

¨ Print shipment documentation such as bill of lading and shipping manifest
