Matt Minglewood Music Reviews

• Review of ‘ Travelin Man’ on godsof music .com …… “I don’t give out 9’s … at least until now. This record is of the type you’d expect a Grammy level recording to be. This song left me aching for more. When a song suspends time the way this song does, and leaves you wanting it to continue on one more time, then there is some serious magic taking place. …… Matt’s rough, road weary, gruff voice, singing about missing his lady is strong enough to send shivers up the spine and down the arms…. this song absolutely takes my breadth away… I’m sold…. damn this is some fine music and one I cannot get enough of ……BRAVO!!!”

Chris K.

• “How do you describe the Minglewood sound? It’s simple… take some rock & roll, some country, and a mess of blues, melt them down and pour them into an Alexander Keith’s bottle, and break it over someone’s head. BAM, Minglewood.”.. Ken Larocque, Thunder Bay, Canada

quality. It won’t be long before the rest of the world catches on.”…..Neil Mitchell

“Minglewood’s latest, ‘Drivin’ Wheel’, is an excellent example of his ability

to write and perform hard driving blues to ballads that bring the listener along with Matt, on the road and away form home. If you are going to invest in one new cd, ‘Drivin’ Wheel ‘ should be it, you certainly will not be disappointed!”……Paul MacDonald, Sydney NS

Gary Moore you’ll find the tone that is all Minglewood. Matt Minglewood has been one of Canada’s best kept secrets for more than twenty years.”……Phonse Jessome, Halifax,NS

• “It should be noted that not only is he an awesome talent, but the musicians he puts

• The Coast/Reverb “Drivin’Wheel marks the return to the studio for this music industry maverick. This is a collection of raw and honest blues-rock… straight from the heart and soul. It seems like the only thing you won’t find on this cd is bull and that’s part of the Minglewood guarantee!”…
