Morgan ShowroomIn May 2014 I become the first member of the Morgan Deaign team to work from the new London Showroom, in Clerckenwell. For 6 months prior to the launch of the showroom I project managed the design and fit-out of the space.
My role has expanded within the business - still very much working as part of the Morgan Studio Design team or 6, collaborating and working on new collections of furniture. In addition, I also assist with showroom layouts, events, and bespoke client projects.
Due to my in depth understanding of materials and process, I am the lead designer responsible for liaising with all new suppliers, who fabricate components which cannot be manufactured at our factory in Hampshire.
Morgan CollectionsCollections I have worked on from Initial Design Concept, to prototype, manufacture, and final launch.

Sketch DevelopmentConcept and development sketch work, used to communicate and problem solve fluently with the design team, prototyping and manufacturers.
3D RendersVisual renders of products at development stage help visualise both the overall form and design detail. These are presented to the Senior management team at concept stage for approval. This collection will be launched at Clerkenwell Design Week in May.
Assembly visuals for productionMy initiative to reduce final assembly times by clarifying the assembly order for a modular seating collection. Now displayed on the factory floor, we benefit from improved efficiency and quality.
Recent TablesResponse to growing demand and trends for luxury materials in hospitality sectors. Three new Table collections were designed and launched at Sleep Exhibition in October 2014.
Production CAD drawingsResponsible for producing 1-1 technical drawings and individual component part drawings which are issued to production departments. Additionally I produce timing sheets, digital cutting plans and upholstery specification documents.

Bespoke designsWorking to client briefs for prestigeous projects. This example shows an existing collection below, and renders of proposed model changes - a reduced size dining chair for a narrow dining area, and the development of a matching bar stool for the collection.
