INTRODUCTIONThe Banking University (BUH) is an public univer-sities under the direct management of the State Bank of Vietnam, with the great mission of training human resources for the banking and finance industry.Established in 1976, Banking University has been known as one of the leading Universi-ties in research and training in the field of Eco-nomics - Finance - Banking. In addition to tradi-tional major in Banking and Finance, the univer-sity also has other majors such as : Business Administration, Accounting and Auditing, Eco-nomics Information System and English, with vari-ous training levels of Associate degree, Bachelor, Masters and PhDs.BUH has high- quality and prestigious faculty,modernfacilities, spacious campuses, and diversified activities to support student.Especially, It is a great pride of BUH aboutateamofalumniwho are workingandtaking up keypositionsinbanking and financial system-andbusinessesinthewhole country.

Center for International Cooperation (CIC) has been founded in August 2004 to promote interna-tional integration in training, researching and other academic activities of Banking University. CIC focuses on developing and managing collaborative training and research programs between Banking University and International partner – universities. CIC has successfully created strong partnership with the University of Bolton, UK and University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland to provide bachelor’s and Master’s program in Business Administration, Accountancy, Banking and Finance, and continu-ing to expand relationships with reputable partner – universities from advanced higher education countries.

CIC has been always consistent with its goal to create the international, high - quality and profes-sional education environment, to lay the solid foundation for the success of students.

PROGRAMS

FHNW- 8894: Students (Bachelor’s and Master’s). - Around 40 000 participants in seminars and conferences− 881 Application-oriented research and devel-opment projects with industry partners totalling CHF 71− 355 services projects with industry partners totalling CHF 33 m-1713 total staffs, 1120 Faculty and support staffsCHF 392 Mio total expenditure:.

University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW)

The University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland FHNW is one of Switzerland's nine Uni-versities of Applied Sciences, recognised and accredited by the Swiss Federation. The University comprises nine Schools with approximately 9000 Bachelor and Master students, and six institutes offering continuing education, applied research and development and consulting.

The School of Business FHNWThe School of Business FHNW is a leading house in the field of executive education with about 150 programmes (Executive Master of Business Admin-istration, Master of Advanced Studies, courses, seminars, symposia). The school is active in busi-ness consulting, applied research and development and teaches more than 1900 Bachelor students and Mater students.The School of Business FHNW offer special interna-tional programmes of education and, with coopera-tion treaties in place with over 130 partner-universities. The School is in a position to secure an intensive exchange of teaching staff and students throughout the world. In 2006, The School of Business FHNW and Banking University have started the great educational part-nership in Vietnam. We offer the Executive MBA program in Banking and Finance with Swiss quality in Ho Chi Minh City.Graduates will be awarded a degree by the FHNW which is recognized worldwide and accredited by the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam.

The Executive MBA in Finance and Banking is a Swiss popular program designed for students who is experienced and high promotion prospects in finance and banking sector. In the fields of financial markets, corporate finance, commercial banking, investment banking, asset manage-ment, risk management… the program offers high-quality education in both theory and applica-tion. Theories and practices are merged together in the program. Student not only could be provided in–depth knowledge of key issues about finance and banking but also the practical experi-ence by lecturers from reputable Swiss financial institutions.Besides, its modern theories and practices, students are encouraged to develop their own style of knowledge and business management know how; to increase their evaluation and ana-lytical skills, to solve problems and make deci-sions, both systematically and creatively of com-plex issues especially in the multi-cultural envi-ronments.

CAREER PERSPECTIVESThe Executive MBA in Finance and Banking is the ideal preparation to foster your career in the world of banking, insurance, asset management, financial consulting, or other finance-related fields. Our graduates take up jobs as both man-agers and specialists in commercial banks, securities companies, investment funds, con-sulting firms, investment banks and other finan-cial institutions. Along with their profound knowl-edge in finance, banking and business manage-ment… and diverse international experience accumulated from this program, our graduates will be successful in domestic, foreign and multi-national corporations.

Executive MBAFINANCE AND BANKING

Start: Fall Semester (mid-July) and Spring Semester ( Mid- January)Duration: 60 ECTS, the time for the program completion is 18 months with 3 stagesLanguage: English

DEGREE : The Executive MBA in Finance and Banking degree is awarded by the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzer-land, recognized in Switzerland and interna-tionally as well as approved by the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam.

CAMPUS LOCATION:

Most of courses in the program will be deliv-ered in Banking University Campus. Students also have 3 weeks study trip in FHNW campus in Switzerland, where they could have some corporate visit activities to banks, financial institutions and companies in Switzer-land.
