Maurits Cornelis Escher was a

famous graphic artist. He was born on

June, 17th, 1898 in the family of an

engineer. In 1919 he went to School

of architecture and decorative arts in

Haarlem, but he left it and started

drawing. During his life he travelled in

Europe a lot and painted his great

impossible works.

machine. The towers seem to be the

same hight but one of them has got

three floors and the other has got

only two floors.
