Mrs. Brown also recognized the entire elementary staff, including Mrs. Sheehan, for their leadership during the recent accident when a motor vehicle struck the elementary school. Recognition was also given to the elementary school staff, administration and custodial crew for the relocation of Mrs. Sheehan's classroom in such a way that the classroom appeared just as it had been, prior to the accident, providing a familiar environment for the children to come back to. Mrs. Brown commended all district staff for their outstanding work.

A. Orleans Niagara BOCES - Dr. Clark Godshall

Dr. Clark Godshall, District Superintendent, thanked Board Members for recognizing students for their achievements, for the great addition Mrs. Seielstad has been and for Mr. Bonnewell, who is often his "go to guy" on many issues. He also thanked the Board for sending ACS students to BOCES and for the support on their budget. Dr. Godshall stated that Albion's smooth operating Board of Education governance is a model for all school districts. He thanked Board Members for taking the time to tour BOCES facilities and noted that with some new faces on the ACS Board, he would welcome the opportunity to schedule another tour . Dr. Godshall outlined several program offerings that BOCES has for students and highlighted their literacy and Continuing Education program for adults.

B. Attendance Report The Attendance Report was submitted for Board Members' information.

C. Superintendent's Report o Superintendent Bonnewell advised the Board that all

ELA and math grades 3-8 state testing is complete. o Superintendent Bonnewell updated the Board on the

marching band trip to Virginia Beach. o Superintendent Bonnewell reviewed with the Board

the numerous activities that have taken place or are taking place in the coming weeks. Those activities include Senior Citizen Day, Budget Hearing, Youth Bureau Dinner, Honors Convocation Dinner and the budget vote. Spring concerts also begin next week.

o Superintendent Bonnewell reviewed the Smart Bond information with the Board. The district is working with WNYRIC to contract for one of their staff members to assist in our process . This individual is familiar with facilitating the State Smart Bond process.

o Superintendent Bonnewell informed the Board of a minor bus accident that took place this afternoon. An ACS bus had stopped at the railroad tracks when a vehicle struck the rear of the bus causing significant damage to the vehicle. There was only one student and the driver on the bus. No one was injured.
