PRAYER JOURNAL: Prayer is a personal journey. From day to day we do not always see how God responds to our conversations with him. Copies of a 4-year prayer journal are available
for purchase at a cost of $15. This 4-year prayer journal is a tool for you to record your daily prayer concerns, and praises. Each page is a new day; from year to year you will be able to
reflect on how God has been answering your prayers. A copy to view is available on the table outside the office. To order a copy of the prayer journal please sign up on the sign-up sheet
outside the office. Journals will be available later this month.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ministry Team A Service Project - We have an opportunity to bless people in our
congregation! Our ministry team (and any additional volunteers) will be meeting May 25, 9am at the church. We will divide up and do some yard work for Dorothy DeJonge and Bev Thomas.
We would love to see you there.
Open Mic Worship - We're trying something a little different. . . . On June 23, 5pm we are
going to have Open-Mic Worship. What is that? It is an opportunity to bring whatever instruments you have (spoons, harmonica, voice, etc - piano and drums are provided) and
worship as God leads us. You do not have to be perfect or even especially gifted! Come as you are. Come with a story of how God has been faithful, come with a passage of Scripture that God
has been using in your life, come with a prayer request and we can pray together, come with
your kids and their instruments of choice, come with song requests and if we can't play it, I am sure we can find a lyric video. You will not be pressured to share or participate in any way, but
opportunities will be given! Join us and let's see what God gives us! Also, there will be food. GIRLS NIGHT OUT: We are having a 'Girl's Night Out' on Friday evening May 24th at Dresden Community Church. We will begin at 6pm with lots of yummy desserts and at 7pm go to the sanctuary to listen to our speaker, Toyin Crandell. She is a dynamic speaker who ran for the PC party. Tickets are $20.00. Tickets are available from Rita Vandertil at 519-892-3378 or her cell # 519-466-1700 or from the church office at 519-683-6541. Hope to see you and many others for a great evening for us gals. Family Faith Formation Tip - It’s important for your kids to know that adults need God’s help
too. In age-appropriate ways, share your concerns with your kids. Are you nervous about that presentation at work? Ask your kids to pray for you. Then tell them later how God answered
those prayers. (Faith Formation Ministries; crcna.org/FaithFormation)
