The Explorer’s Class is continuing its series on prayer this morning and next Sunday. This study, based on Marjorie Suchocki’s book, In God’s Presence, presents a different way of understanding prayer based on process theology. If you have had problems with praying in your life, or questions about it, you may find the ideas in this class welcoming. 9:00 a.m. in the Adult Room. Coffee is served.

UMOM Volunteers - We need volunteers to help with UMOM Homeless Shelter dinners on the following Sundays: June 17, July 8, July 15, Aug. 12 and Aug. 19. Brown Bag Lunch - Come join us for Brown Bag Lunch every Tuesday at noon. Bring your own lunch and socialize with people from the church. We always have a good time. Come and be a part of this fun group.

Connections is a Dayspring mission that advocates for the intrinsic worth of all persons, regardless of their sexual orientation. It offers support to and education about gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered persons and their families. It also hosts the Tempe PFLAG group meeting each first Friday of the month. Our clergy can provide names of “Connections” members for you to contact.
