Nursery Note
Starting July 1, 2016, there will no longer be nursery care offered for the 8 a.m. Mass on
Sundays. The Nursery will remain available at Sat. 5:30 p.m. and Sun. 10:30 a.m. and
12:30 p.m. Masses.
Bulletin Ads
If you would like to run a business ad in our parish bulletin, please contact the Parish Office.
Ads are $300 and will run for a six month period (July-Dec. 2016). Ads are about the size of a
business card. The deadline for returning your ad and contract is June 8, 2016. Only 14
spaces are available. Ads will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.

Council of Catholic Women General Meeting
The final St. Anne CCW meeting of the 2015-2016 year will
be Tues., May 17 from 5:45 to 8 p.m. in Visitation Hall. CCW
meetings will resume in September.
3rd Annual Epic Restaurant Benefit Dinner
Enjoy a special dinner with Columbus Deanery pastors during
the 3rd Annual Epic Restaurant Benefit Dinner on Fri.,
May 20 with cocktails at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m.
Reservations are $350 per person; your generous donation
is tax deductible and will support St Anne-Pacelli Catholic

Mums for Sale
St. Anne's Council of Catholic Women members will be selling
Father’s Day Mums in the Commons Area before and after
each Mass May 21/22, May 28/29, and June 4/5. Each
mum is $5; cash or checks made payable to St. Anne CCW
will be accepted. Mums will be displayed on Father’s Day
weekend, June 18/19.
Seneca, Choices for Life, Grand Opening Celebration
You’re invited to the grand opening for Seneca, Choices for
Life, a new Pregnancy Resource Center located at 3900
Rosemont Dr. in Columbus, on Sun., May 22 from 1 to 4 p.m.
Come tour the building, enjoy lunch, and learn more about
this new, life-saving ministry!
CCW Spring Luncheon
The Columbus Deanery Council of Catholic Women's Spring
Luncheon is Sun., May 22 at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Hall at

Knights of Columbus’ Memorial Day Mass
The Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus' Annual Memorial
Day Mass honoring those who died while serving our country
will be celebrated Mon., May 30 at 11 a.m. at Andersonville
National Historic Site in Andersonville, Ga.

The Knights of Columbus will host the annual Clergy/
Seminarian Appreciation Dinner on Fri., June 17 at 7 p.m. in
Visitation Hall. Diocese of Savannah Bishop Gregory J.
Hartmayer will be the guest speaker. Everyone is invited.

Spotlight on Stewardship May 15, 2016 Stewardship Reflection “The Advocate, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will
send in my name, will teach you everything and
remind you of all that I told you.” (John 14:26)
The materialism of our society lures us to concentrate
more on what we want than on what God wants for
us. The relativism of our world tells us that we should
be tolerant of all things, that there is no absolute
truth. Pray to the Holy Spirit to put the right words in
our mouths when challenged about our faith.

Vacation Bible School Registration Underway
VBS will be held at St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School Mon.,
June 20-Fri., June 24 from 9 a.m. to Noon each day. Children
ages Pre-K4 through 5th grade are invited to participate.
Youth in 6th-12th grades and adult volunteers are needed.

Baptism Class

grader Charlotte Parker, 2nd grader Michaela Bowlin and
8th grader Sarah Bouthillier were selected to crown Mary
during the Lower School's prayer service.
