commitment.

Please take this opportunity to serve our parish with
your time and talents and also meet some great
fellow volunteers.

needs. For more information, please call the rectory

“Whoever believes in me will do the works that I
do, and will do greater ones than these because I am
going to the Father.” John 14:12
Have you heard of the 10/10/ 80 Plan?
It’s the plan for a sound and peaceful financial fu-
ture. The plan simply says save 10% of your in-
come, give 10% of your income and spend the re-
maining 80% of your income. Now, most Ameri-
cans think this is impossible because they are living
on 110% of their income.
With the help of credit cards, credit lines and loans
many American families feel the pressure of doing
good things. So, when we live beyond our income,
stress and strife come into our lives.
Do you want more peace and less stress? Try this?
Start today to give and save the same percentage
amount each month. Maybe look at your monthly
income and commit to saving 5% and giving 5%,
then reschedule your monthly budget to live on
90%.
As hard as that seems, it is not only possible, it is in
you and your family’s best interest. See, Jesus said,
“and greater ones than these”, He already told us we
can do greater works than He did, not because of us,
but because of our faith. He is with the Father and
He really wants you to do greater works, not just
‘good works’.
Do you believe that? Do you want to believe that?
Than start today! Remember, the little boy gave his
lunch, he gave all he had and Jesus took that gift and
did ‘greater’ works, he fed over 5,000 people, with
one lunch! (RG)
