Please be advised that the sprinklers will not be able to water the grounds properly if they are covered by cars parked too far in parking spaces. Please make a note
of sprinkler locations and be careful when parking your car. Parents: please do not allow your children
to touch or play with the sprinkler heads! Also, be sure to walk on sidewalks and not on grass or
mulched areas. We appreciate your help!
Remember to reprogram your thermostat for summer cooling! Simply follow the instructions inside the cover of your thermostat. Keep your thermostat at a higher temperature during the day and set a lower temperature an hour before you are to arrive home in the evening. That way your place will be cooled off for you by the time you get home! Please contact the office if you feel your thermostat is not reading the temperature correctly.
You can also keep your blinds and/or curtains closed. Omitting sunlight will make your place cooler.
If it is too hot to use your oven, try cooking outdoors, use a crock pot, or better yet, eat out!
**Don’t forget: It is considered a maintenance emergency if it is above 80 degrees outside and you’re A/C is not working!
SLOW YOUR CAR DOWN!!!
The speed limit in our community is 10 MPH!
Please keep in mind that warm weather brings more joggers, dog walking, and children at play! So
please be careful and take your time!
We love pets! But, please remember that if you decide to have a pet, you must abide by ALL of our Pet Policies. Here are some friendly, reminders:
We now accept dogs up to 35 LBS in apartment homes and 100 LBS in townhome apartments. If you decide that you would like to have a pet, you must register with the office. Failure to do so is a breach of your lease contract and will result in penalties. Please remember to have your pet leashed at all times on our property. Do not leave your dog unattended outside and/or tied to any signs, trees, or posts in ground. If your dog goes missing, Atlantic
Heights is not responsible. If your cat or dog gets out of your apartment home by accident, please make IMMEDIATE arrangements to retrieve your pet. Do not allow your dog or cat to go in and out of your apartment unless they are LEASHED! Leashing your pet is required whether you own a dog or cat! The only place a dog is permitted unleashed is at the Dog Run.
Please do not leave pet waste on ground. There are bag dispensers located around the community for your convenience. Picking up after your dog not only includes around your own apartment but around other buildings as well. We will not tolerate any more complaints about residents walking their pet around other buildings in order to avoid picking up the waste! After the first
warning for this offense, there will be a $25 penalty for not cleaning up after your pet.
Its grilling season! Move over George Foreman!!
One of the most enjoyable summer pastimes is cooking outdoors with family and friends! If you’re craving a good ole American burger,
please enjoy our outdoor grills located at the Clubhouse and various locations around the community. As per your lease agreement, you can
have an electric grill at your apartment. Remember, community policy prohibits the use of gas or propane grills at apartments, or
on patios, and balconies. So be safe and happy grilling!
