Princess Ladies, how wonderful it is to belong to one of the greatest L.O.S. Courts in North
America! It was so exciting to watch the new Officers and Aides during the last court meeting. Let us not forget what a great job our new High Priestess Janet Mielke did as well.
Now is the time to start planning our trip to W.A.O.U.M. in Portland, Oregon. I will be reporting on airfares at our next Court meeting. Sphinx Court always has such a fun time on these trips so if you have never been please plan on attending. Be pre-pared to laugh a lot and make new friends.
To all that are leaving the Valley for the summer months, be safe and stay healthy. For those of us staying around, try to stay cool!
I wish you all a Blessed summer!

Happy Mother’s Day From
The Past High Priestess Club
High Priestess Each year we hear about “making our budget” and plan several Ways & Means projects dur-ing the year to do so. This year is no different.
Since our court dues do not cover the expenses of the court, we need additional money to cover the shortfall. We are just like a family where the parents go to work. However, each time that we do work at a Ways & Means Project we receive an additional bo-nus of getting to know each other that much better; AND we can have fun at the same time. I know that we will do a “bang up job” this year.
By the time you receive this newsletter, we will have finished our golf tournament. This has been a really big project and I hope that you were able to enjoy the activities. Thanks to all who participated: played golf or the games, collected donations or sponsors or attended the dinner.
Our next project will be announced at our May meeting; so come to court to hear about it. It also will be our last meeting until September.
As we did last year, we will again focus on helping our kids. Please help Associate Princess, Lady Dee Berkebile-Wright’s Special Project..

Associate Princess Many thanks to all the units and clubs, officers and members, for your generous donations in lieu of gifts. They will all go toward my project, “HAPPY FEET”, an
orthotic shoes project. I should have more of the de-tails pretty soon for you. The hospitals have also sent me lists of items needed for the children, so I’ll be giving each unit the lists and maybe we can fill all their needs.
Thank you for helping me to fulfill the wishes of our
Shrine Hospitals.

First Ceremonial Lady Congratulations to our new officers. You all did a great job at our April Court Meeting.
Janet, I was so proud of you for the job you did. Ladies, we had to change to date of our next Mem-
bership Tea. It will now be on October 9th. Thank you for all the calls, cards, etc. after my re-
cent shoulder surgery. All went well and there were no complications. Also, my wrist is much better. I think I’m finally on the mend.
