Have you visited our new website?

We are proud to share our new website with our San Miguel family—www.sanmiguelcristorey.org.

Our former website (www.sanmiguelhigh.org) will begin feeding directly over to our

new site soon, so that those using our old web address are automatically sent to our updated website. Our new website has many exciting features, including a brand

new parent page. Parents and guardians can access this page by clicking on the “Parents” button on the main page. You will then find all the tools you need—

PowerSchool login, resources, the school calendar, lunch program information, etc.

Students and alumni have similar pages, so please encourage your students, past and present, to visit our new site. This is still a work in progress, so please

let us know if you have any suggestions.

Check back often for updates!

San Miguel High School, a Catholic, Lasallian learning communi-

ty empowering youth from underserved families, nurtures a Chris-

tian spirit and integrates rigorous academics with practical experi-

ence, thereby transforming students to be prepared for college and

career.

San Miguel High School opened in 2004 in order to create a learning

community where students from families of limited financial means

have the opportunity to develop to their full potential. San Miguel is lo-

cated in Tucson’s economically depressed south side where 50% of

adult residents do not have a high school education and 42% of San Mi-

guel’s neighbors earn less than $25,000 per year.

At San Miguel, students take a full college preparatory course load

while simultaneously holding internships, working in corporations and

earning nearly sixty percent of their school tuition. The Corporate In-

ternship Program (CIP) at San Miguel gives students the opportunity to

form new identities as citizens and professionals who have a bright fu-

ture.
