monthly reporting
In case you didn’t catch on, monthly reports are due by the 5th of every month (unless the 5th is a Sunday, in which case they are due on the 6th).
It’s very important that your club turns in its monthly reports because that’s how the District Secretary keeps track of all the clubs in the district.
Monthly reports are done by the club secretary (or secretaries). The reporting page may seem intimidating, but it’s really not too bad. Usman Hyder, our District Secretary, has made a video tutorial walking through the report, and there are numerous resources available on the Texas-Oklahoma Key Club website.

Lastly, remember to mail a hardcopy of the monthly report to the District Secretary. Send a virtual copy to the regional advisor and LTG. Send reports to the following:

Osman Moneer, Division 39N Lieutenant [email protected]
Donna Newsham, Regional Advisor [email protected]
Also, although there is no school during most or all of June, July and August, monthly reports must still be filed for those months.

You may be thinking “Dang, school’s over so now I have no more Key Club stuff to do.” Well, you couldn’t be more wrong. Summer’s great because you have so much more time available. You don’t have to volunteer every day, but volunteering once a week is a reasonable amount. So, how would you go about doing that?
1. Hold a summer service day for your Key Club. This would be an event hosted or sponsored by your club. Summer service days are neat because you can add the event to the monthly report for that particular month so your summer reports aren’t completely blank.
2. You know those summer days when you don’t do anything but laze around at home? Well, those are the perfect days to go volunteer. Call up a few friends and head over to a community center, retirement home or soup kitchen. Mission Arlington is a great place to go to, as they almost always have something that needs to be done .
3. Raise money for The Eliminate Project. The Eliminate Project is a Kiwanis initiative to rid the world of maternal and neonatal tetanus. Community garage sales, car washes and lemonade stands are easy ways to fundraise. Grocery stores are nice places to set up lemonade stands since there’s typically a steady flow of traffic.
