ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES
“THE RESIDENTS’ CORNER”
The month of May is upon us. Activities will be slowing down, making room for pool
parties, water volleyball and any other suggestions residents have. Please continue to rec-
ord these suggestions for this summer or next fall and winter season on the Residents’
Corner Bulletin Board in the Craft Room. We are especially looking for an activity to plan
in the month of June. Also please write your name by your suggestion so that someone can
contact you for follow up. This does not mean you need to be in charge.
Since last month, more suggestions have been posted on the bulletin board in the following
categories:
Games: Double Deck Pinochle, Hand & Foot Card Game and Cribbage
Crafts: Painting classes as water color, acrylics and drawing. Stained Glass and Wood
Shop.
Off-Campus Trips: Organ Stop Pizza, Sewing and Craft Festival
On-Campus: Sing along, bringing musical instruments outside on staging area. Potlucks
with games.
Physical: Organized Hiking Club and Tai Chi Classes.
The minutes from the Resident Activities Committee meetings will be posted on the
Residents’ Corner Bulletin Board.
In closing: “Change is the law of the universe. Without change, the world would not
merely remain in static state, but it would soon become stale and stagnant.”
- Emmet Fox—a positive thinker.
Please visit the Residents’ Corner bulletin board and keep the happenings and activities
coming in.
