Page Two Dear Parishioners, Seven men are going to be ordained to the priesthood in June. One of those is Deacon Sam Fontana who was with us last summer. He will be ordained on Saturday, June 21 at 10:00am at the Cathedral. His irst Mass of Thanksgiving will be that same day at 5:00pm at St. Pius X Church, 201 E Bayou Parkway, Lafayette. He wanted to let you know you are all invited. We inished up school this past Friday with our closing Mass and awards ceremony. Last Tuesday we had our irst 8th grade promotion Mass. Both Masses were beautiful. I want to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Richard and all his staff for doing a great job this year. Thanks to all of you parents for making the sacri ice to send your kids to our school. Please remember there is no vacation from vocation so please continue to practice your faith during the summer and even on trips. Find out a local Catholic church for Mass. The Adoration Chapel will be closed this Monday for Memorial Day. The of ice will be closed as well. I love you all. Joke of the Week Thou Shall Not……. The Ten Commandments were the subject of Miss Dixie’s Sunday school lesson for ive and six year olds. After explaining “Honor thy father and thy mother,” Miss Dixie asked, “Is there a commandment that teaches us how to treat our brothers and sisters?” Without missing a beat, little Cindy answered, “Thou shall not kill.” In Jesus, Fr.
