Music Notes From the PastorAs we embark upon this new journey at First Baptist Church, I want to remind you to bathe this entire process in prayer. Our sanctuary is open any time if you want to come and spend a few minutes in prayer.This Sunday we will begin the process of select-ing a Worship Pastor Search Committee. This will take place in two phases. Phase One is the nomination phase. This Sunday, May 13, our church will have the opportunity to select names in three different categories based upon age. We then will take the top three vote getters in each category, and they will be on the final voting bal-lot. The final vote will take place on Sunday, May 20.The Worship Pastor Search Committee will con-sist of five individuals with two alternates. The committee will be made up of one person from the SONshine choir, one person from the sanctu-ary choir, one person from the 30-40 age group, one from the 40-50 age group, and one from the 50-60 age group. These parameters were put in place by the Personnel Committee.If you have any questions, I would be more than happy to answer any question. I want us to be as open and transparent as we possibly can be.I would like to end with a few lyrics from a song that was sung at last week’s National Day of Prayer breakfast.And through it all, through it all My eyes are on YouAnd through it all, through it all It is well
