ADMISSION to the Main Gallery art exhibit is $7 per person (members and visitors 12 & under are free). The remainder of the Museum is free admission with donations gladly accepted.

MEMBERSHIPS are available for purchase at the front desk and online.

ADVANCE TICKETSWe strongly recommend that visitors reserve tickets in advance for all exhibits (even general admission). You can visit the Museum’s website or call the front desk at 970-962-2410 to make your reservations. Full details can be found at:www.lovelandmuseumgallery.org.

PARKING with a two-hour limit is available along 5th Street and Lincoln Avenue. Three-hour parking is available in the lot on the southwest corner of 5th Street and Lincoln Avenue.

FOOD AND BEVERAGES are not permitted in the Museum.

PHOTOGRAPHY is permitted in designated areas only.

BACKPACKS AND LARGE BAGS are not permitted in the Museum. Lockers are not available and guests are encouraged to leave all valuables and large or heavy items at home.

SERVICE ANIMALS are welcome. Accessible restrooms and infant/ toddler changing stations are available.

Infrared is the light spectrum just above our own visible light spectrum. When photographing sculpture outdoors, for example, green trees become white, letting the sculpture “pop” off its surroundings.

The 30th annual Governor’s Art Show and Sale is presented by the Loveland and Thompson Valley Rotary Clubs and features outstanding works by 60 masterful Colorado artists in a wide variety of mediums, artistic techniques and styles.

FREE ADMISSION DAYS: Tuesday, June 8th from 10 am - 5 pm and during Night on the Town Friday, June 11 from 5 - 8 pm.

Artwork will be available for purchase online starting May 23 at www.governorsartshow.org.

Encaustic is a combination of beeswax, damar resin, and pigment that is brought to a molten state and applied with a brush to a rigid surface and reheated so the wax melts into the layers beneath. This exhibition by Colorado artists explores and celebrates the artistic expression of light in the natural world as both subtle and awesome.
