YOUTH GROUP
The Youth Group meets on 2nd & 4th Sundays, 2:30-4:00 PM in the parish hall. All rising 8th graders—HS age are invited. We have some fun summer activities planned - Come to the meetings to find out more!
Youth interested in the “Hacer Lío” retreat should contact Eloisa for an application. The cost is $150.

Everyone is invited! Padre José Eulogio Alvarez Osorto will be visiting St. Mary on Saturday, July 13 for a retreat from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM and a healing Mass at 3:00 PM. The theme of the retreat is “Jesus is my teacher” and will be presented in Spanish. Sponsored by the Legion of Mary.
NEW CHILDREN OF GOD

MEMORIAL GARDEN
The parish garden is no more. As such, there is no longer a need to construct a fence. The
Finance Council has recommended to Father that funds from the 2017 television raffle (1,341.90) for the fence be redirected to help construct a pro-life memorial garden and walkway outside of the church. Father Kottar has accepted the recommendation. With the help of volunteers, this project will begin later this year. If you can help with manpower, please contact the parish office.
PLEASE HELP WITH SCHOOL SUPPPLIES
We all know all difficult school
can be, but it’s even harder when your family can’t afford to buy all the materials on the teacher’s list. (think Ticonderoga pencils!). So kids can feel more confident on the first day of school, the parish raises funds every year for this effort. Last year parishioners donated $2,842 which helped 75 children from our parish with school supplies. Additionally we were able to send funds to help the Women’s and Children’s Center in East Jerusalem with a donation.
This year we are hoping once again to have another successful fundraiser. The best way to help is by donating money so that the parish can purchase the things that are actually needed. Please write “school supplies” on the memo line of your check and put in the regular collection or mail to the office anytime this summer. You may also make a secure online donation by using our website and going to the collection marked “school supplies.” Thank you in advance on behalf of the children and youth who benefit.
PLANNING A QUINCEAÑERA?
These are the parish guidelines you should know if you are planning a Quinceañera for your daughter: She must have received all of the
sacraments of initiation: Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation.
She should be enrolled in (and attending) the High School Faith Formation classes.
If not already scheduled the cost is $400, and must be paid in full before the date can be reserved.
The family should be attending Mass in our parish.

FAITH FORMATION REGISTRATION
It’s time to register for Faith Formation! All children in Grades 1-12 should be enrolled in Religious education classes.
Registration takes place in the parish office during regular office hours. Remember to submit a copy of your child’s Baptismal certificate if he was not Baptized in our parish. Classes will begin Sunday, September 8.
