Health & Safety!In an effort to ensure a healthy and safe

environment for you, your children, and our staff,

we ask that you do not drop off your child if they

are ill. Any children that appear to be sick WILL 

require us to contact the parent(s) to pick-up their

child.

Snacks are permitted in Kid’s Korner and at all Kid’s

Korner events. However, we ask that all food be

nut-free. This is to protect those children with

severe nut allergies. *Please note not all facilities in the community center are

peanut free. 

Kid’s Korner staff is not permitted to change

diapers or take children on potty breaks unless

it is a special occasion such as Mom’s Day Out

or Date Night. If there is a potty emergency,

Kid’s Korner Staff will contact the

parent/guardian, at which time the

parent/guardian is responsible for diaper

changes and potty breaks.

What’s Happening ThisMonth? April is full of fun activities and events for you and

your child! Please take a moment to note the dates

and events below!

Parent’s Day Out: 

 Friday, May 3rd and Friday, May 17th

from 9:00am-12:00pm

Kids Kraft:Saturday, May 11 th, from 9:30am-10:30am

Date Night:Saturday, May 11 th, from 5:00pm-9:00pm

Newsletter!

Important Information forParents! To bring your child/children (ages 6 months - 10

years) to Kid’s Korner, you will need to complete

and/or update a registration packet  that includes

a copy of your children’s immunization records.  The registration packet provides us with the

correct medical, emergency, and personal

information we require to ensure a safe

environment for your children. All information

you provide is held confidential. The registration

packets can be completed at the Fitness FrontDesk or online via the community portal. 

 Rates for Kid’s Korner are as follows: $3 per hour 

for children ages 2 and older and $4 per hour for

children ages 6 months to 1 year. If you utilize

Kid’s Korner more than three (3) times a week,

you may want to think about purchasing our $35Monthly Unlimited Reservation Pass.

 This pass allows parents to make reservations for

 the full month, for the first 3 days of the month. 

 Please keep in mind that the maximum daily useof the Kid’s Korner, are two (2) hours per

shift/per child, with a reservation, and one (1)

hour per child, as a drop in.

 You can make reservations by contacting the

 Fitness Front Desk at:

623-580-9556. 

*Drop in’s will only be accepted if there is room

available and at the Kid’s Korner Monitor’s

discretion. 

All payments for Kid’s Korner must be made at

the time of reservation.

**Cancellations must be made a half an hour

before the time of reservation. No refunds w ill

be given to those w ho fail to cancel on time,

and will be documented as a “No Show”. After

two “no shows” in a one month period, a $15.00

fee will be charged.

This Month’s Theme! 

Each month, Kid’s Korner will ha ve a theme! This

means that the Parent’s Day Out and Date Nightactivities and Coloring Pages will follow the

monthly theme!

This month’s theme is: 

 When dropping your child off in Kid’s

Korner, you are not permitted to leave the

premises for any reason.  This includes hiking  the trails or going for a run around the

neighborhood.

 Leaving the premises while your child is in

Kid’s Korner is a safety and liability concern,

and will result in a suspension of membershipprivileges and usage of Kid’s Korner. 

It is important for our Monitor’s to have

parents on site and know where they are

located at all times, in case of an emergency.

 We have three (3) events each month in

which parent are permitted to leave the

community center premises. Date Night,

which is held on third Saturday evening of 

each month for a four (4) hour period and

Parent’s Day Out, which is held on the first

and third Friday’s of the month for a three (3)

hour period. Events are for children ages 1year to 10 years. 

 You can sign up for these events at the Fitness Fron t Desk.

An Important Reminder!

Our Staff:Kid’s Korner has four Monitors; our monitors are

Jacque`, Jillian, Lacey & Barbara. 

 All Kid’s Korner Monitors have Child Care

experience and are American Red Cross certified

in CPR, AED. It is our Monitor’s goal to provide a

safe and interactive environment for your

children! Please stop by and meet your Kid’s

Korner Monitors! 

 Anyone who purchases a Kid’s Korner

Unlimited Reservation Pass that signs up for

Date Night will receive a $5.00 discount perenrollment.

 Also, for Parent’s Day Out, anyone with a

Kid’s Korner Unlimited Reservation Pass will

receive a $2.00 discount per enrollment.

Kid’s Korner Incentive Plan! 

Kid’s Korner has a new TV Policy! If you

would rather the television stay off while your

child is in Kid’s Korner, please let our staff 

know when you drop them off! If they are

allowed to watch television the following age

appropriate and educational channels are

approved:
