Mom…

A short word but with a lot of meaning in

our lives. The being that gave us life, the

one that takes care of us and teaches us,

the one that educates us and the one that

also rebukes us. The one that guides us through the

good path. For those of us who still have the privilage

of having our mothers around us, whether next to us or

in the distance, it is a blessing and for those who have

left despite the pain of not having them around. They

are always remembered and blessings are doubled

when it comes from heaven.

In a special way, I want to congratulate all the mothers

on their day, but especially to all the mothers of Saint

Peter who day after day fight for the welfare of their

families and for their community as well.

May the Lord continue to bless you and may your

homes be filled with His spiritual peace.

Thank you for being a mother and for giving us the gift

of life.

Una palabra corta pero con mucho significado en

nuestras vidas. El ser que nos dió la vida, la que nos

cuida y nos enseña, la que nos educa y la que también

nos reprende. Aquella que nos guía por el buen

camino. Para aquellos que aún temenos la dicha de

tener a nuestras madres a nuestro alrededor, ya sea

junto a nosotros o en la distancia, es una bendición y

para aquellas que han partido a pesar del dolor de no

tenerlas cerca, se les recuerda siempre y la bendición

es doble cuando viene del cielo.

De una manera especial, quiero felicitar a todas las

madres en su día, pero especialmente a todas las

madres de San Pedro que día a día luchan por el

bienestar de sus familias y esta

su comunidad.

Que el Señor les siga

bendiciendo y que sus hogares

se llenen de su paz espiritual.

darnos el don de la vida…

and dedication you put in your families. We thank you for putting up with us and taking care of us

each and every day. A simple thank you isn’t enough when we think of all the sacrifices you have made

for us. Mothers, we love you dearly.

Today as we celebrate the feast of the

Ascension we are reminded that

Christ’s saving work on earth continues through his

disciples…and now through us.

When we give to the poor, God indeed pours his

love, peace and joy into our hearts, into our lives

and into the hearts of those who are poor.

Hoy, cuando celebramos la fiesta de la Ascensión,

recordamos que el trabajo salvador de Cristo en la

tierra continúa a través de sus discípulos... y ahora a

través de nosotros.

Ministry to the Sick and Home-bound We would like to invite others to join in our ministry to

the sick and home-bound. We are looking for someone

willing to coordinate this important ministry.

There will be adoration to the blessed sacrament on June 3rd, from 10:30 am - 11:30 am in the church. Habrá adoración as Santísimo el 3 de Junio de las 10:30 am hasta las 11:30 am en la iglesia.

Altar Server If your child has received First

Communion and is interested in joining the ministry of Altar Servers, please contact the

office! This is a very good opportunity for your children to be closer to God and to be

more involved in our parish.
