WHY I PUT AMSTERDAM
I put Amsterdam because this is were the setting was and because the most important part of the book happened here, during a theft.
WHY I PUT NEW YORK CITY
I put New York City because when the kids (March, Jules, Darius, and Izzy) have to get money to buy the things they will need to live – they escaped from an orphanage – this is where they stole the money from.
WHY I PUT CALIFORNIA
I put California because this is were the kids stole a moonstone, a stone that, if they get all seven to Carlotta Grimstone, they will have 7 million dollars.
WHY I PUT AN ORPHANAGE
I put an orphanage because after twins March and Jules’s mother and father die from falling into a waterfall and falling off a roof after stealing a moonstone, this is where they are sent. Its not prison, but it sure feels like it.
WHY I PUT TWINS
I put twins, boy and girl twins, because in the book, March’s dad, Alfie McQuin, was going to tell March he had a twin, and that they were separated when they were born, but then Alfie died, leaving March to figure it out on his own.
