Preschool Progress Reports/ Conferences
We don’t need a special reason to praise your terrific children… it has been a great year of learning and having fun. We will be evaluating your child and will be visiting with you in a phone conference before the end of the school year. We will be sharing all of the great progress your child has made and also share some areas that may benefit from practice over the summer. This is a good opportunity to ask questions or express any concerns you may have.

We have several people that we need to thank for helping us do what we do. Our superstar parent volunteer chairs -Jenna Fossum and Erin Gross and committee members: Christina Vaughn, Megan Grivas, Julie Shedlock, Andrea Williams, Katie Kraus, Janet Greedy, Mary Emily Boedeker, Adri-anna Shabbot, Phyllis Neely, Linda and Brian Highfill, Kathy Reading and many more parents that helped us out this year with things like,
the Thanksgiving feast, Snack Sack packing, Valentine’s rotations, solicitation and set up for the spaghetti dinner and auction, and especially for organizing the teacher appreciation week and covering our classes during our special lunch. We could not have done all that we have done without these wonderful parents and grandparents.
Our summer program is on the way…
We are excited as we plan our summer fun weeks July 9-13 and July 16-20 from 9am—noon. This will run similar to our last days of preschool with fun rotations in subjects such as science, crafts, snack, gross motor, academic skill review, play-ground and music. Some of the activities we will have are a fishing pond, special snack recipes, boat races, nature scavenger hunts, camping bingo, rock lettering, camping play, sleep-ing bag races, and so much more. There will be new activities each week, so that if your child attends both weeks, it will be something new everyday! We ask that you do send a backpack with a change of clothes and a hat as we will be doing some activities outdoors and will have a campsite set up for dramatic play. Apply sunscreen everyday. Fridays will be fun water days so they will need to have bathing suits for those special days. Preschool will provide a special t-shirt for every child who attends. We are look-ing forward to a fun time with the kids. If you have not yet signed your child up for these fun weeks, we are still accepting registration until May 15. If you have any questions, please see Lisa in the office.
