CALL TO ORDER Mayor Powell called the meeting to order at 7: 30 p. m. 2. ROLL CALL Present: Mayor Powell, Alderman Johnson, Alderman Aaron, Mayor Pro Tem Buckle, Alderman Nelsen, and Alderwoman Priem. Absent: None A quorum was present. 3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE 4. ANNOUNCEMENTS: ITEMS OF COMMUNITY INTEREST In accordance with Government Code Title 5, Subtitle A, Chapter 551, Sect. 551. 0415) Mayor Powell announced SwiftFest will be this Saturday in Fireman' s Park. City Administrator Wilde noted there will be a retirement lunch for Barbara McCoy tomorrow. B. CITIZEN COMMUNICATIONS Citizens wishing to address Council should complete a registration form and hand to the City Secretary prior to the start of the meeting. In accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Council is prohibited from discussing( other than factual responses to specific questions) or acting on any items brought before them at this time. There were no citizen comments. C. GENERAL BUSINESS AND ACTION ITEMS 1. a. PUBLIC HEARING on a proposed Transportation Capital Improvement Plan for 2016 - 2021. As there were no citizens wishing to be heard, a motion was made by Alderman Johnson to close the public hearing. Alderman Aaron seconded the motion. Upon roll call the vote was as follows: Yes: Alderman Johnson, Alderman Aaron, Mayor Pro Tem Buckle, Alderman Nelsen, and Alderwoman Priem. No: None. The motion carried unanimously. b. Consideration and possible action on the above Transportation Capital Improvement Plan for 2016 - 2021. 1

AUGUST 25, 2016, 7: 30 P.M. AT THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBER, 18649 FM 1431,

A. ITEMS OPENING MEETING

1. CALL TO ORDER

Mayor Powell called the meeting to order at 7: 30 p.m.

2. ROLL CALL

Present: Mayor Powell, Alderman Johnson, Alderman Aaron, Mayor Pro Tem Buckle,

Alderman Nelsen, and Alderwoman Priem.

Absent: None

A quorum was present.

3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

vote was as follows: Yes: Alderman Johnson, Alderman Aaron, Mayor Pro Tem

Buckle, Alderman Nelsen, and Alderwoman Priem. No: None. The motion carried

unanimously.

b. Consideration and possible action on the above Transportation Capital

Improvement Plan for 2016 - 2021.

A motion was made by Alderman Aaron to approve the Transportation CapitalImprovement Plan. Alderman Johnson seconded the motion. Upon roll call the vote

was as follows: Yes: Alderwoman Priem, Alderman Nelsen, Mayor Pro Tem

Buckle, Alderman Aaron, and Alderman Johnson. No: None. The motion carried

unanimously.

2. Consideration and possible action to approve the annual Interlocal Agreement

between Travis County and the City of Jonestown for Emergency Law EnforcementDispatch Services.

Chief Harrison spoke briefly about the agreement. A motion was made by AlderwomanPriem to approve the annual Interlocal Agreement between Travis County and the City ofJonestown for Emergency Law Enforcement Dispatch Services. Alderman Nelsen

seconded the motion. Upon roll call the vote was as follows: Yes: Alderman

Johnson, Alderman Aaron, Mayor Pro Tem Buckle, Alderman Nelsen, and

Alderwoman Priem. No: None. The motion carried unanimously.

3. Consideration and possible action on an exclusive residential, commercial, and roll-

off refuse service contract between the City of Jonestown and Progressive WasteSolutions of TX, Inc. d/ b/ a WC of Texas.

Alderman Nelsen of the Public Works Committee described the process used to review

prospective providers and arrive at a recommendation. Steve Shannon of Progressive Waste

was present for any questions. A motion was made by Alderman Nelsen to enter into anexclusive residential, commercial, and roll-off refuse service contract between the City ofJonestown and Progressive Waste Solutions of TX, Inc. d/ b/ a WC of Texas. Alderman

Aaron seconded the motion. Upon roll call the vote was as follows: Yes: Alderman

Johnson, Alderman Aaron, Mayor Pro Tem Buckle, Alderman Nelsen, and

Alderwoman Priem. No: None. The motion carried unanimously.

D. ADJOURNMENT

Mayor Powell adjourned the meeting at 7:46 p.m.
