Scotland is the current home for 3 young individuals that have taken part in AIESEC’s Global Talent Programme coming from across the globe. In cooperation with McIntosh Consulting, AIESEC in the University of Strathclyde has been able to foster the exchange of these individuals to the city of Glasgow. The partnership is revolved around our “Technology” talent pool to migrate graduates who are educated in Software Development & Programming. Abdallah Mohd, Vice President of Business Development 2014 at the AIESEC committee in the University of Strathclyde met with the company back in early 2014 to begin the current partnership. Through the exibility of Global Talent, Abdallah was able to attract 3 young individuals that had education & experience in Software Development from the countries of Serbia, Tunisia & Hungary. As AIESEC UK Ltd. (Parent Company) is an ocial licensed Tier 5 Visa sponsor, we are able to issue visas on behalf of our partners to migrate the individuals that take part in our program. For our Global Talent Programme, we use the category of “Government Authroised Exchange” under Tier 5 for our temporary interns at lengths of 12 months. Global Talent operates in 14 cities in the UK through our campus committees at our local universities, the parent company AIESEC UK Ltd. located in London (Old Street) coordinates with our committees the exchange program for all our partners. Our partnership with McIntosh has been overly successful this year, that in February of 2015 the partnership has grown to include a new intern arriving from Poland with the extension of contracts for their two interns from Tunisia & Serbia (Tier 5 Visas can be extended up to 24 months).
