What is MCCOPA? The McLennan Community College Office Personnel Association was founded in 1971 as a way to bring together support staff from across the campus and to help better serve the college and community. Welcome Back Potluck Luncheon!

There were 23 people present for our annual Welcome Back Potluck Luncheon. Our presi-
dent, Sheena Williams made introductions, and our fundraising committee asked us to start
thinking of what we can sell at the MCCOPA craft bazaar fundraiser this fall. We were re-
minded that we still have 117 MCCOPA cookbooks left to sell, so spread the word!
Gale Kissinger announced that Dr. Drew Canham offered for his office to pay for catering
the Bosses’ Luncheon this year and have us just bring desserts. This motion was ap-
proved.
The social committee reminded us to sign up on Sharepoint to bring refreshments for our
meetings.
***Remember to fill out your online application at www.mclennan.edu/faculty/mccopa and
pay your $10 annual membership fee to our treasurer, Brenda Price, by October 1st to be
included in the membership drawings for $25 on October 4th.
