MessageDear Friends and Colleagues,
We feel great pleasure and an honour to extend to you a warm invitation to attend the
National Conference on Evidence Based Unani Medicine-MCON 19 with the theme “Challenges in the
Management of Amraz-e-Muzminah (Chronic Diseases) th th” on 5 & 6 November 2019, organised by
Department of Moalejat, Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. The event is
meant to provide a platform for interaction between eminent researchers, academicians and physicians and to
update the theoretical knowledge and the practical skills of our colleagues working in the field of Unani
Medicine.
This conference will encompass invited lectures from Unani Medicine and allied Sciences. The panel
discussion and interactive sessions will also be a part of this conference.
It is the need of the hour to support the National Health Care system to cater the global populace. This
requires better training and education of Unani graduates and validation of various therapies and theories of
this system. The conference will help to establish credibility or transforming the experience-based claims
into evidence-based claims. However, the question of how to address the need for both individualizing and
standardizing treatment with herbs is a major issue which needs to be addressed. The Conference will provide
a wonderful forum for you to refresh your knowledge base and explore the innovations in Moalejat. We hope
you will join us and take a little extra time to enjoy the conference.

The organizing Committee deems an honour and pleasure, to invite you to the National Conference on “Amraz-e-Muzminah (Chronic Diseases) on 5 & 6 November, 2019 at Department of Moalejat, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. This conference aims to create a platform for interaction between various scientists and students associated with Unani Medicine. To confirm your participation, you are requested to submit an abstract (not exceeding ) along with complete registration form by 250 words
th30 September, 2019. The abstract may also be submitted through an e-mail as a MS word File to the organizing secretary.
