What is mass?

It is the amount of matter that makes something up

It does not change no matter where you are at

It is different than weight, because weight changes when gravity changes

This cow’s mass is the same even on the moon!

How is mass measured?

Mass is measured in grams

1gram= one tiny unit cube

1kilogram= 1000 grams, or about 2 pounds (the size of a baseball bat)
