Mise en scene

The mise en scene of ‘The Doppelganger’ was heavily thought of because the props in the film will have a responsibility of helping represent someone who has a mental illness such as depression. Therefore, some of the mise en scene that was considered for this film, included drugs and alcohol.

Appearance is also very important in presenting the character in two completely different ways, one being the deprived and the other being the fortunate.
