Media InformationThe Cleveland Cavaliers Basketball Communications Team welcomes you to the 2007-08

NBA season. It is our goal to provide a professional and productive working environment. Toassist in your coverage of the Cavaliers, please note the following:

Credentials: You must have a Cavaliers credential (season or single-game) or an NBAmedia pass to be admitted to Quicken Loans Arena, and your credential must be visibly wornat all times. Credentials should be requested through the Cavaliers Basketball CommunicationsTeam.

Your credential does not guarantee a seat. Please contact the Basketball CommunicationsTeam no later than 5:00 p.m. the day before a game (5:00 p.m. on Friday for weekend andMonday games) to reserve a seat in the press seating areas. Single-game credentials can bepicked up at the media entrance, located at the east side of Quicken Loans Arena (off of East6th street, adjacent to Cavaliers Team Shop). Photo ID is required to obtain your credential.

Season and single-game credentials are non-transferable and any unauthorized use willsubject the bearer to ejection from Quicken Loans Arena and the forfeiture of the credential. Noautographs are allowed during media access periods.

Media Entrance: The media entrance is located on the east side of Quicken Loans Arena(across from Gateway East Garage) and opens two hours prior to game time. If you are comingout of the Gateway East parking garage, crossing E. 6th street, you see the Cavaliers TeamShop and main box office entrance. The new media gate is located just to the left of the teamshop. Plenty of parking is available in close proximity to Quicken Loans Arena. All members ofthe media must enter the building through this entrance.

Media Workrooms: There are two separate work areas for media at The Q. Writers workingon deadline should work out of the media workroom located on the event level at the north endof Quicken Loans Arena, adjacent to the Cavaliers locker room. All other media membersshould work out of the ‘high-bay’ area located at the west end of arena, adjacent to the mediadining room. Both rooms will open two hours before game time and remain open until the lastmember of the media is finished working. In order to provide the proper working environment,friends, relatives or guests of the media will not be permitted access to the media workrooms.

Telephones: A limited number of telephones are provided for general use in the mediaworkrooms. Individuals using those phones should make all calls on a collect, third-person orcredit card basis. If you would like to order your own phone line, please contact the BasketballCommunications Team.

Services: A pregame meal will be available to working media at the cost of $8.00. Meals willbe available starting 90 minutes prior to tipoff. In addition, snacks and beverages will beavailable at halftime in the media room.

Seating: Seating is assigned in all media sections; seating charts will be available in themedia workroom. There are electrical outlets at all locations, and telephones are located atvarious points courtside and in auxiliary media seating in Section C126, 128 platform, and 130.

TV and Radio: Visiting television broadcast positions will be courtside, adjacent to thevisitors' bench. Radio broadcast positions will be in the radio booth in Section C126. Ifstatisticians are desired, please make arrangements with the Cavaliers BasketballCommunications Team at least 24 hours before game time. All requests for pregame orpostgame interviews should be directed to the Cavaliers Basketball Communications Team.

Photographers: Photographers are asked to keep off of the sidelines and to be considerateof the season ticket holders seated directly behind them. Photographers must be onassignment from a recognized news source; freelance photographers will not be credentialed.Photographers are asked to wear rubber-soled shoes and are required to have rubber lens

shades for their cameras. Only television photographers doing postgame interviews will haveaccess to locker room areas.

Locker Rooms: In accordance with NBA policy, both locker rooms are open to members ofthe media during pregame for a 45-minute period that ends 45 minutes before the scheduledgame time. Postgame media availability follows a 10-minute cooling off period. Only workingmembers of the press with the appropriate credentials will be admitted to the locker rooms. TheCavaliers locker room is located at the northeast corner of Quicken Loans Arena, while thevisitors' locker room is located on the east side of Quicken Loans Arena.

Cell Phone Use in Locker Room: Per NBA policy, cell phones are no longer permitted tobe used in the locker room by any media member.

Parking: Full-season parking passes will be assigned by the Cavaliers BasketballCommunications Team on a limited basis. For those media members who receive full seasonparking privileges, the media parking area will be located in the Gateway East garage.

Transportation: There is public transportation via RTA to Quicken Loans Arena, with busservice to the Arena, as well as RTA rapid transit (from Cleveland Hopkins Airport) to TowerCity. There is a covered walkway from Tower City to Quicken Loans Arena.

2007-08 Cavaliers Media SeatingTo find your seating location for the game, please see any one of the seating charts located

throughout The Q. Seating charts are available outside the media workroom on Level 1,outside the media workroom in the ‘high-bay’ area located near the media dining area(northwest corner of the arena on Level 1), in each media seating section or by seeing anyoneon the Cavaliers Basketball Communications Team.

To Section C126: Access to this section is off the fourth floor of the arena. Head downthe stairs in the vomitory marked C125/C126 and the seating area is in the first three rows ofthe section on the right.

To Section 128: Access to this section is off the third floor of the arena by entering thesection 128/130 vomitory. The media section will be on your left. It is also acccesible by takingthe stairs up section 128 (off the floor) and then entering the section 128/130 vomitory on thethird floor.

Cleveland Cavaliers2007-08 Television Coverage

Cavaliers To Have Every Game Televised For Fourth Consecutive Season;Cavaliers to Make 31 National Television Appearances

For the fourth consecutive season, the Cleveland Cavaliers will have each of the 82 regular-season games televised on either FSN Ohio, WUAB, ABC, ESPN, NBA TV or TNT.

FSN Ohio will air 70 games, with five of these simulcast on WUAB. The FSN Ohio scheduleconsists of 35 home games and 35 road games, and will feature 37 games broadcast in HighDefinition.

Over the past four seasons, the Cavaliers have experienced tremendous growth in thebroadcast ratings. Cavs telecasts last season on FSN Ohio were the third highest rated amonglocal regional outlets in the entire NBA. In the playoffs last year the Cavs Eastern ConferenceFinals series with Detroit was the highest rated series on cable during the NBA playoffs withthree of the series games ranking in the Top 10 of cable sports telecasts nationally through thefirst half of 2007. Game 6, Game 5 and Game 4 ranked 1st, 3rd and 9th respectively.

The Cavaliers will appear on national television 31 times during the season. The breakdownwill be ABC (5), ESPN (9), TNT (8), and NBA TV (9). Eleven of these games (five on ABC andsix on TNT) will be exclusive national telecasts. On several occasions, Cavaliers games willbe shown both by a national television outlet and locally on FSN Ohio.

Returning for his second year as play-by-play announcer on FSN Ohio is 23-year NBAbroadcast veteran Fred McLeod. He will be joined for all 70 games by “Mr. Cavalier” AustinCarr, now in his 10th season as television color analyst.

FSN Ohio will also bring back FSN Live, the pregame and postgame show for every gamehosted by Jeff Phelps and Campy Russell. For Cavaliers home games, FSN Live will originatelive from The Q and for road games, FSN Live will be broadcast from the state-of-the-art FSNOhio studio in Broadview Heights.

FSN Ohio reaches more than 4.5 million households in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, westernPennsylvania, western New York and West Virginia.

2007-08 Cleveland Cavaliers Radio Network

Cleveland Cavaliers fans will be able to follow the club all season long on the 18-stationCavaliers Radio Network. All 82 regular season games, as well as the seven preseason gamesand all playoff games will be aired live.

The flagship station for Cavaliers basketball is 50,000 watt News Radio WTAM 1100.Returning as the Akron outlet for the 19th season is AM 1590 WAKR.

Joe Tait, now in his 36th season as the radio play-by-play voice of the Cavaliers, will bebehind the microphone for each game this season. Returning for his 16th year is Mike Snyder,who will be the radio broadcast studio host for pregame, halftime and postgame shows.Producer and locker room reporter Scott Zurilla is back for his 14th year.

Each broadcast on the Cavaliers Radio Network begins with “The Jim Giltner FinancialGroup Tip-Off Show,” an inside look at the upcoming game. Hosted by Snyder, the show airs30 minutes prior to game time. It is a comprehensive look at what is happening around theNBA, including interviews, highlights, game reports, injury updates and a preview of theCavaliers game with Head Coach Mike Brown and Joe Tait.

Following game broadcasts, fans can tune in to the “Alltel Call-In Show”. Also hosted bySnyder, the Alltel Call-In Show will feature a Star of the Game interview, final stats andhighlights, as well as comments from players in both locker rooms, portions of Coach Brown’spostgame press conference, live reports and highlights from other games around the league,as well as comments from Cavaliers fans everywhere. The studio call-in numbers are (216)420-2700 and 1-800-474-8255.

Fans can also hear the “Mike Brown Show,” which airs every Thursday from 7:00-8:00 p.m.on News Radio WTAM 1100 and the Cavaliers Radio Network. The “Mike Brown Show” offersfans the chance to talk one-on-one with the Cavaliers Head Coach.

Also, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning at 8:25 a.m., Tait will appear on NewsRadio WTAM 1100 with host Bill Wills to update Cavalier fans with the latest on the team andthe NBA in general. Coach Brown, General Manager Danny Ferry and other front office staffwill appear every Tuesday and Thursday, also at 8:25 a.m. Tait will host the daily “CavaliersUpdate,” which is broadcast to the entire Cavaliers Radio Network and features the latest newson the Cavaliers, including game recaps, previews and other NBA features.

Joe TaitVice President, Broadcasting

Joe Tait returns for his 36th season as the voice of the Cleveland Cavaliers. As the club’sradio play-by-play announcer, Tait has become one of the most recognizable and popularmembers of the Cavaliers and he is synonymous with the team itself. On Nov. 26, 2002, whenthe Cavaliers hosted the Sacramento Kings, Tait broadcasted his 2,500th Cavaliers game,further illustrating his long and memorable tenure as the voice of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

For the first 11 years of Cavaliers history, he was the voice that let everyone know “It’s basketball time at TheColiseum” (or, “It’s basketball time at the Cleveland Arena” until the 1974-75 season). During that time, hebecame an institution in the area while earning a reputation as one of the top sportscasters in the country.

In 1981, he left Cleveland to become the radio play-by-play announcer of the New Jersey Nets. A year laterhe handled the play-by-play of Chicago Bulls games on SportsVision, the team’s cable-TV outlet, and broadcastthe CBS Radio College Game-of-the-Week. Tait returned to the Cavaliers radio post in 1983.

After 11 consecutive seasons of calling games at The Coliseum, Tait had to again change his famous lead-in from “It’s basketball time at The Coliseum” to “It’s basketball time at Gund Arena” for the 1994-95 season,when the team moved from The Coliseum to Gund Arena in downtown Cleveland. “It’s Basketball Time atQuicken Loans Arena” is now the lead-in as year number two of the Dan Gilbert led era of Cavs basketballbegins.

In December, 1987, Tait was named Vice President of Broadcast Services for the Cavaliers. In that full-timerole, Tait was involved in all aspects of the Cavaliers radio and television broadcasting, while continuing hisduties as radio broadcaster. From 1987-88 to 1992-93, Tait performed the television play-by-play duties for the20 games each season which were telecast on WOIO-Nineteen and the Cavaliers Television Network. For thepast 13 seasons, Tait has broadcasted all 82 games on News Radio WTAM 1100 and the Cavaliers RadioNetwork which covers most of the state of Ohio and parts of Pennsylvania. Tait also served as the radio play-by-play voice of the WNBA Cleveland Rockers from 1997 to 2003.

Prior to his full-time association with the Cavaliers, Tait broadcast Cleveland Indians baseball for 16 years.He has also done selected college basketball games that were carried nationally on the CBS Radio network.Tait was named the 2004 “Sportscaster of the Year in Ohio.” He also received the honor in 1974, 1976, 1978,1991, 1996, 1999 and 2002. In addition, Tait was voted the best radio/TV announcer in the area in a pollconducted by the Cleveland Plain Dealer in 1985 and 1986. Tait kept active during the summer of 1992 as theplay-by-play voice of the World Basketball League on both SportsChannel America and ESPN.

A graduate of Monmouth College in Illinois, Tait began his radio career while still in college, broadcasting localsports events in the Illinois/Indiana area. In 1969, Tait became the network voice of Indiana University footballand the pregame host of Indiana Pacer basketball in the old ABA. A year later, with the birth of the Cavaliers,Tait began his association with the club. Also, Tait was an instructor in sportscasting at Ohio University (1966-68) and at Mount Union College (1989-1994). In the fall of 1996, Tait was named to the Board of Trustees forMount Union College in Alliance, Ohio, where he has been the TV voice of the Purple Raiders for 18 seasons.

Throughout his broadcasting career, Tait has been honored with a number of awards, including being electedto the Monmouth College Athletic Hall of Fame in October 1991, to the Media Hall of Fame by the Sports MediaAssociation of Cleveland and Ohio (S.M.A.C.O.) in September 1992 and to the Broadcasters Hall of Fame inOctober 1992. In November 1996, Tait was awarded the C.S. Williams Founders Award by the BroadcastersHall of Fame for long and meritorious service in broadcasting. They have recently given him The BroadcastingLegacy Award for 2004. In the summer of 2001, he was inducted into the Cleveland Sports Legends Hall ofFame and the Lorain Sports Hall of Fame. He was also inducted into the Cleveland Press Club Hall of Famein September of 2003.

Tait and his wife, Jean, reside in Lafayette.

Television Play-By-Play Announcer

Fred McLeod begins his silver anniversary season of NBA play-by-play. This isFred’s third season as the Cavaliers television play-by-play voice, having served in thesame capacity for the Cavs during the 1979-80 and 2006-07 seasons. McLeod alsospent 22 seasons as the television voice of the Detroit Pistons.

A local television anchoring veteran, McLeod first returned home to Cleveland tospend four years at WJW, where he also took on play-by-play duties with the Indians. In Detroit, McLeod hostedthe locally acclaimed “Sports Final Edition,” a half-hour weekly sports wrap show on WDIV in Detroit.Throughout his career, McLeod has served as the play-by-play voice of Detroit Tigers for four seasons and theDetroit Lions for seven seasons, in addition to handling numerous college assignments.

The Strongsville, OH native graduated from Point Park College in Pittsburgh where he pitched in the NAIACollege World Series in St. Joseph, MO. McLeod then began his TV career two weeks later. McLeod later tookhis broadcasting skills to WSTV in Steubenville, OH as well as KPIX in San Francisco. He is also a proudrecipient of the prestigious Silver Circle Award, in recognition of lifetime achievement in television. This awardis given by the National Academy of Arts and Sciences.

Fred and his wife, Beth, reside in Bay Village, where she spent part of her childhood. Both are avid runners,competing in the Detroit and Phoenix marathons. Fred has three grown children, Sean, Jenna and Molly, whoattend universities around the country.

Austin CarrTV Color Analyst/Pregame Host

Director of Community and Business Development

Austin Carr is in his 10th season as a TV color analyst for Cavs Basketball. Carrjoins play-by-play announcer Fred McLeod to provide insight and critical analysisduring all Cavaliers games.

After a standout career with the Cleveland Cavaliers from 1971-80, Carr rejoinedthe Cavaliers in the front office in June 1991 as the Director of Community and Business Development. He isresponsible for generating new business from Northeast Ohio corporations with a particular focus on smallercompanies and minority organizations. Beginning in 1997, Carr became the full-time color analyst for CavsTelecasts on WUAB and the Cavs Television Network, a position he held prior to this season.

Carr played the first nine of 10 seasons in the NBA with Cleveland before stints with Washington and Dallas.He ranks as the Cavaliers’ All-Time leader in field goals made (4,272) and field goals attempted (9,480). Carris second on the Cavaliers’ All-Time list in scoring (10,265), fourth in games played (635) and fourth in minutesplayed (19,003).

Carr was the first player chosen in the 1971 NBA Draft, following a brilliant college career at Notre Damewhere he averaged 34.5 points per game and was a two-time All-American and currently holds the record formost points in an NCAA Tournament game (61). He was named to the NBA All-Rookie team in 1972 and herepresented Cleveland in the 1974 NBA All-Star Game. Carr was further honored when his number (34) wasretired by the Cavaliers on January 3, 1981. In addition, Carr was selected to the Cavaliers’ All-Time StartingFive as voted on by 32 members of the media in Northeast Ohio and the Cavaliers’ All-Time Team as selectedby the fans. The All-Time Starting Five and All-Time Team were selected in conjunction with the Cavaliers 30thAnniversary season of 1999-2000.

Always active in community affairs, Carr won the Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award after the 1979-80season, an award which recognizes an NBA player or coach who makes substantial contributions to hiscommunity. He continues his charitable activities with the United Black Fund, the March of Dimes and the Centerfor Prevention of Domestic Violence. He is also the spokesperson for the Cavaliers "Read to Achieve" program,in addition to making numerous speaking engagements to youth groups.

A single-digit handicap golfer, Carr is the proud parent of Jason and Ashley.

Mike Snyder returns as the Cavaliers radio network studio host for the 2007-08season, his 16th straight year in the position. Snyder will begin each Cavaliers radionetwork broadcast with the 30-minute "Jim Giltner Financial Group Tip-Off Show," acomprehensive look at what's happening around the NBA, featuring interviews, gamereports, injury updates and a preview of the Cavaliers game with Head Coach MikeBrown and radio play-by-play announcer Joe Tait.

Snyder will also host a halftime report which features first half analysis and special guests. Snyder is currently the Sports Director at News Radio WTAM 1100, where he provides updates duringafternoons and evenings. Snyder is the studio host for the Browns Radio Network. He has also hosted"Countdown to Baseball" on the Cleveland Indians Radio Network and “Extra Innings” following Indians gameson News Radio WTAM 1100.

Snyder has also been the past play-by-play television voice for University of Akron and Kent State Universityfootball and basketball, as well as the radio play-by-play voice for Cleveland Force soccer and Canton-AkronIndians baseball. In recognition of his distinguished career, Snyder was inducted into the Ohio BroadcastersHall of Fame in November 2000.

Snyder and his wife Janice reside in Lakewood and are the parents of Jillian, Jonathan and Matthew.

Jeff PhelpsFSN Ohio Host/Reporter

Jeff Phelps is in his fifth season as the co-host of “Cavaliers Live Countdown,” and"Cavaliers in the Post," the Cavaliers pregame and postgame shows on FSN Ohio.Phelps also serves as sideline reporter during game telecasts.

Phelps has performed a variety of duties prior to his current role with FSN,including play-by-play of Mid-American Conference football and basketball, host ofCleveland Indians pregame and postgame shows, and play-by-play on FSN’s Thursday Night High SchoolFootball telecasts.

Prior to joining FSN in 2003, Phelps spent 16 years with WUAB-TV and WOIO-TV in Cleveland as SportsDirector/Anchor-Reporter. Phelps began his career in sports broadcasting at WAKR-TV-Radio in Akron, Ohio.He then moved on to KJAC-TV: NBC in Beaumont, Texas where he served as Sports Director/Anchor-Reporter.

During the 2002-2003 high school basketball season, Phelps worked on the St. Vincent-St. Mary pay-per-view telecasts, featuring LeBron James.

A three-time Emmy award-winner for sports reporting, Phelps was also named Ohio Sportscaster of the Yearby the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association in 1994.

A graduate of Kent State University, Phelps currently resides in Medina, Ohio with his wife Gayle, and theirthree children.

Joe Gabriele started as the beat writer for the Cleveland Cavaliers’ official website,“cavs.com”, in August 2003. Gabriele is responsible for the site’s overall contentincluding game recaps, feature articles, Cavaliers Daily and acts as editorialconsultant for “The Optimist.”

Before joining the Cavaliers in 2003, Gabriele served as both newsdesk and teamsites editor for the NBA in New York and New Jersey. Prior to working for the NBA, he was a managing editorat Professional Sports Publishing, also in New York. He has written for national and local publications such asHOOP Magazine and the Downtown Tab.

Gabriele is a graduate of Cleveland State University and enjoys painting and biking in his free time.

M. Campy RussellDirector of Alumni Relations

Campy Russell begins his second season providing analysis on the FSN Ohiopregame show, “Cavaliers Countdown” after three seasons as the team’s broadcastanalyst on the WUAB TV 43 Cavaliers pregame show. He also is the Cavaliers’director of alumni relations which helps connect former Cavs’ players with theorganization and fans. Alumni are active in the community and at Cavs’ home games

where they visit with fans, make special presentations and are involved in charitable fundraising.Russell played 10 years in the NBA, including seven with the Cavs (1974-75 to 79-80 and 1984-85) where

he was an NBA All-Star in 1979. He played three seasons with the New York Knicks from 1980-83 and led theleague in three-point field goal percentage in 1981-82 (.439). Russell was named to the Cavaliers’ All-Timeteam and remains in the Cavs’ all-time top ten in six categories. Russell entered the 1974 NBA Draft as juniorunder the hardship clause and was the eighth pick of the first round. In 2002, Russell rejoined the Cavaliers asthe team’s outer market events specialist, a position involving sales, community relations and youth basketballprograms. In 2004, he championed the Black Heritage Celebration, one of the most comprehensivemulticultural celebrations in the NBA.

Russell is an alumnus of the University of Michigan, graduating with a Bachelors in Sports Management andCommunications in 2000 and is a member of the university’s Hall of Honor. He is the father of four daughters,Allex, Mandisa, Oyin, Saki and one son, Michael II.

Senior Vice President/Communications

Tad Carper was promoted to Senior Vice President / Communications for theCavaliers and Quicken Loans Arena organization in August of 2006. He was namedVice President of Communications in April 2003. In his position, Carper oversees allteam and front office public relations, media service and communications elements,corporate and business communications, websites, and community relationsprograms for the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers, Quicken Loans Arena and Lake Erie Monsters.

Prior to becoming Vice President of Communications, Carper was the Vice President of Marketing for thethen Cavaliers/Gund Arena Company from 1999 through the conclusion of the 2002-03 Cavaliers season. Heplayed a key leadership role in the re-branding process for the Cavaliers that involved the change in team colors,logos and uniforms that were launched at the final game of the 2002-03 season.

For more than 20 years, Carper has held a variety of sports and entertainment industry sales, marketing, andcommunications positions. Immediately prior to joining the Cavaliers Operating Company, he was the vicepresident of sales and marketing for the Lansing (Mich.) Entertainment & Public Facilities Authority. Prior to that,Carper was a director for SMG, the organization that operates the Jacksonville Sports, Entertainment andConvention Facilities. He made key contributions to the successful renovation, grand opening and first twoseasons of Jacksonville Municipal Stadium (home of the NFL’s Jaguars), as well as the renovation of the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts and the Veterans’ Memorial Coliseum.

Carper, 45, holds a Master of Science degree in Sport Management from the University of Richmond (VA),as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Shepherd College (WV). He residesin Avon, Ohio with his wife, Ann, and their three children Madison, Clayton, and Elizabeth.

Amanda MercadoBasketball Communications Director

Amanda Mercado was promoted to Basketball Communications Director for theCleveland Cavaliers in August of 2004 after spending the previous season as theteam’s public relations manager. Mercado and the Basketball Communication Teamare responsible for promoting the on- and off-court endeavors of the Cavaliers’organization, its players and its staff as well as facilitating the requests of the local,national and international media.

Mercado returned to her hometown of Cleveland, Ohio and to the Cavaliers Operating Company in Octoberof 2000, after starting her professional career at the former Gund Arena in 1997.

Prior to joining the Cavaliers public relations staff, Mercado spent three years as the director of publicrelations for the Cleveland Rockers. She was responsible for the overall operation of the Rockers publicrelations department.

Previous to rejoining the Rockers, Mercado was named media relations manager for the Miami Sol inJanuary 2000. She also spent time as the public relations assistant and assistant director of public relations forthe Detroit Pistons and the Detroit Shock, respectively.

A graduate of St. Bonaventure University, Mercado earned her degree in journalism/mass communication.She also played four years of varsity basketball for the Bonnies.

She resides in Cleveland with her husband, Dave.

John ManuszakBasketball Communications Manager

John Manuszak was promoted to Cavaliers Basketball Communications Managerin July of 2006 after joining the Cavaliers Operating Company as Public RelationsCoordinator in July of 2003. Manuszak manages all areas of the Cavaliers’ BasketballCommunications Team, including writing and editing game notes and press releasesand arranging interviews with players, coaches and front office personnel. He also

oversees the Basketball Communications Team’s game-night staff and assists the Cavaliers BasketballOperations Team with statistical studies and projects.

Manuszak earned a B.A. in Communications and a minor in Business from John Carroll University in May2003. He began his career as an intern with the Cavaliers Media Relations Department in the summer of 2002before serving as a game-night public relations assistant during the 2002-03 campaign. He also worked in thesports information office while at John Carroll and served as a communications intern for the Ohio AthleticConference.

The North Canton, Ohio native is a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School and enjoys running andgolf.

Garin NarainBasketball Communications Manager

Garin Narain was promoted to Cavaliers Basketball Communications Manager inJuly of 2006 after spending the previous three seasons as Public RelationsCoordinator. Narain attended the University of Florida, graduating with honors in 2002 with a B.S. in Psychology andearning a minor in General Education. He served as sports editor for The Gator Times for nearly two years(Sept. 2000 – July 2002) before becoming sports editor at FYI Weekly in Gainesville, FL in August of 2002. AtThe Gator Times, Narain was a recipient of the 2001 Florida Press Association First Place award for BestSports Page/Section in Better Weekly Newspaper Contest as well as the recipient of the 2001 Florida PressAssociation Third Place award for Best Sports Commentary/Column in Better Weekly Newspaper Contest.

In his free time, he enjoys playing sports and watching movies.

Tora VinciBasketball Communications Coordinator

Tora Vinci was promoted to Cavaliers Basketball Communications coordinator inAugust of 2007 after spending the previous two seasons as Media ServicesAssistant. Vinci oversees media credentials, seating and travel arrangements whilealso coordinating interviews for players, coaches and front office personnel.

Prior to joining the Basketball Communications Team, Vinci spent two years withthe Cavaliers organization in suite services and ticket sales. She also served an internship with the BrandDevelopment Department of the Detroit Pistons/Detroit Shock during the spring of 2004.

A native of Westlake, Ohio, Vinci attended Eastern Michigan University on a swimming scholarship, com-peting for the varsity Eagles all four years and serving as co-captain her senior year while earning her B.S.degree in marketing.
