Tuxera is the global expert in embedded file systems,

Tuxera StoryTuxera’s roots are in the open source NTFS file system
development dating back to the late 1990s. Szabolcs
Szakacsits founded NTFS-3G project, which incorporated
as a Finland based company NTFS-3G Technology in 2008.
Meanwhile Anton Altaparmakov had been developing and
maintaining NTFS file system in the Linux kernel.
In 2009, the company was renamed to Tuxera Inc. with
Mikko Välimäki as CEO, Szabolcs as President and CTO and
Anton as the lead file system developer. The name Tuxera
was chosen to reflect the company believed “Tux” (the Linux
penguin’s name) would be in the new “era” in every device.

Szabolcs oversees the company’s overall strategy and technical path. He leads the R&D activities and development of next generation file system and streaming solutions. He founded software company specialized in Linux and Internet in Hungary and after several years he moved on to developing computer games at
Androsoft with Erno Rubik.
Mikko VälimäkiCEOMikko leads Tuxera’s day-to-day operations and helps to drive Tuxera’s overall strategy. Under his leadership Tuxera has expanded globally and is on a path of financial strength and fast growth. Mikko played an instrumental role in establishing the company’s most important partnerships
and negotiating key licensing deals.
Anton AltaparmakovLead in File System Development
Anton leads development of the Tuxera NTFS, exFAT and TFFS Linux kernel drivers. He also wrote the NTFS kernel driver, which is shipped with Apple’s Mac OS X and the ntfsprogs library and tools on which the current NTFS-3g library and tools are based. Anton has been involved with Linux kernel development since 2000 and has contributed to various open source projects over the years.
