EDITOR’S NOTE

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

Zieleń Miejska is doubtless a unique magazine on the Polish press market. It is the only one in the country that comprehensi-vely covers the field of landscape architecture, designing green areas in urban spaces, as well as state-of-the-art solutions for blue-green infrastructure. Moreover, as trends emerge and new technologies develop, so does the range of topics covered by the magazine.

We are happy to be rooted in rock-solid foundations which we have been perfecting for over 12 years. Thanks to our vibrant community of professional authors which includes scientists, experienced specialists, people of business and culture, architects, designers and green area developers, lawyers, officials and managers, we can boast a steady update of monthly information and inspiration. In the green infrastructure industry, we are considered to be an invaluable source of knowledge, hard to obtain even with aid of the seemingly all-knowing internet.

We have also been collaborating with a number of excellent companies from the industry, and these are relationships which we value highly. Nursery-gardens, landscaping colleges, producers and distributors of modern machines and devices for garden maintenance, suppliers of small architecture, local governance institutions or NGOs are just a few to mention.

Currently the magazine is the only one that is specialized only in the subjects of urban green places and it’s dedicated to the professionals. Our natural environment needs protection and rational resources management.
