Location fits into the plot of the story.

Plot is well thought-out with unique features and it can be part of normal life.

The audience connect to the innocent characters in the story.

Typical man vs woman scenario ( This can be predictable, however our plot has many twists and turns to make it original) Set by an actual Psychiatric hospital

which adds to the verisimilitude of the film

Believable

If the music doesn’t’ get you engaged in this film, nothing will. The music in this piece brings a much more deeper atmosphere for the scenario that the audience are witnessing at the very start and so will keep them on the edge, making them expect the un-expected.

Eerie Musical content

Page 24: Media Pitch 2014 By Jordon Jones, Ryan Morris and James Purser.

At times, the music is quiet, which only broadens the creepy atmosphere to when the tone changes when action takes place.

The music will help to build overall tension within the film and keep the audience enaged.

Our film cuts straight into the action. We believe this will get the audience more engaged straight from the start, rather than slowly luring them into the story like many film openings do, it will build interest, suspense and tension quickly and the audience will be able to get more into the film and make them feel as if they’re actually there

Powerful, condensed opening

Coming round now is a hand-out of a typical credit sequence that we researched that we will be using in our opening two minutes of the films
