THE TITLE OF MY PUBLICATION

I have many ideas on what the name of my publication should be, I really want my publication to have a stylish, fun, influential but notorious name because I want my

magazine to be previewed as prestigious, classy R&B magazine.

Here are some of my options: •Desirer•Élégant•Le Club

My reasoning to why these names are in consideration is because I want my publication to have a little bit of a

contrasting field about it, because when I personally view` an R&B magazine it

come across as “Ratchet or cheap” I really wanted to change the image of R&B and

make look sophisticated not only to represent the music and the artists but the

fashion too.

My publication will consist of music, the life style of musical artists, their way up or struggle to success , the best music of all time and fashion

One of the regular features in magazine will be musical events i.e. concerts or award ceremonies. I want this to be regular feature because I want readers to feel like they can rely on my magazine to know when the latest event are coming to town.

Another regular feature I chose, I chose on purpose because I want the readers to feel apart and involved in my music magazine. What I chose is of inspiration from KERRANG! Which is readers reviews on music concerts, ceremonies or festivals etc..

The next feature I will include in my magazine is competition section. The reason why I will have a competition section is because I want the readers to feel that they can get something out of my magazine.

The last and obvious regular feature in the magazine will be the advertisement. The type of advertisement that will be included within the magazine will be adverts on music products for example like beats head phones which meets the purpose of the magazine

I do not want my magazine just to be strictly a music magazine, but a fashion one too, not only do I know that music and fashion link in together, but having various of regulars and features in my magazine will appeal to a wider audience readers, this is a benefit because it is actually more likely for the magazine to gain a lot of profit and recognition.

The specific features that will be included in my magazine is a latest fashion section (what is hot what is not) another section will be all about the music meaning the latest music and artist also including their life story on how they became successful and the struggle of life, this will actually inspire the readers.

because I do not want the magazine to be too formal as I

feel that it may scare off readers, but it wont be too

chatty either I still want it to maintain the level of seriousness

COLOUR SCHEME

The colour scheme of the music magazine will be black, white and gold.

The reason why I have chosen these colours as a colour scheme is because, to me and to a lot of people black and white is deemed to be classy colours which mixes in with the purpose of the outlook of the magazine which was it to be elegant, I also chose the colour gold because I wanted this to represent the wealth of the magazine in the sense of that there is rich information within magazine that you wouldn’t see anywhere else.

WHAT WILL MAKE MY R&B MAGAZINE UNIQUE?

• What I think will make my magazine unique is the fact that it changes how people perceive the look of R&B

overall because the magazine will have a more

sophisticated look than over R&B magazine.

• The magazine has a better connection with the

audience meaning it makes the readers or fans feel like they are involved with the

structure of the magazine i.e like the audiences reviews

from concerts.

• Unlike other magazines this magazine will

represent men and women both equal for example in

some magazine women are use as sex symbols

• This magazine will be talking in depth about the history of R&B and how it

makes people feel.
