Breathable Laminate

The standard fabric for basic protective apparel; formed by bonding fibers together to from a single layer of breathable, woven-like material. Its main advantages are economy and comfort, but it also provides light fluid protection.

Created when soft, spunbond polypropylene is coated with a layer of impervious polyethylene. This lightweight material is ideal for any situation demanding a high level of fluid protec-tion.

Microporous film bonded to nonwoven material provides fluid-proof protection and great breathability. This material is ideal for extended wear conditions where fluid contact is expected.

A multi-ply material consisting of layers of meltblown polypropylene between layers of spunbond polypropylene. Strong, fluid-resistant and breathable, this multi-layer material provides and optimal mix of protection and comfort. Appropriate for extended wear situations involving low to moderate fluid contact.

Basically there are three types of PE raw materials are used in making PE disposables, High-Density-PE (HDPE), Low-Density-PE (LDPE) and Linear-Low-Density-PE (LLDPE). The three broth-ers endow the finished product with toughness, softness and ductility, which make the colorful products for different usages. Usually a little bit other material are added like dyes or other new additive. Almost all the PE material are recyclable but recycled material are not suitable for the product for food processing purpose.

Weight and Thickness

To measure the protection level of PE products, the thickness of PE film is the key point. However for easy defining, usually the measuring of weight for each product or by square meters is widely used, and it should be a number of average weight. The heavier film is usually more protective, yet sacrificing the softness and economic advantages of the products. Therefore balanced point of weight of each product is widely accepted.

Forming and Producing

The production of all the PE disposable products can be divided into two main steps, forming the film and producing the finished product. Different technique of forming, like blowing or lamination, will endow the film with different properties. To seal or “sew” the PE film by heat together is the basic technique to make the PE apparel. The heat-joint point is also vital to the quality of the apparel because of the possibility of weak point or leakage which also limited the usage in high requested medical purpose. However some new products have conquered this problem recently.

Strength and Weakness

PE film has good resistance to fluid and fat, yet depends on the thickness and quality of sealing. Pure and virgin PE material is safe to the food, yet recycled PE or colored one may have alien material and be toxic. PE is strong enough in room tempera-ture, yet it is weak and could be melting in temperature higher than 75 degree Celsius. The surface processing like embossed or stripped could provide better anti-skid property, yet thin and smooth surfaced film may provide better touch feelings and sensitive operation.

PE Apron PEA Series

The PE apron is simple product and quite suitable for mass using in factory, hospital, restaurant or house working. It is used just like other aprons with no special instructions and no needs for washing or cleaning. After using it can be easily taken off because of the pre-cutting in the neck tie, and can be disposed as flammable disposals for the pure PE material.
