Established in 2006,Al Shamil Medical Centreis today a full-fledgedmulti-specialty medical centre, conveniently located at thewell-known Al QassimiHospital intersection,located on the first floor of (bank building), the centre has over the last 8 years offered quality health care to local and expatriate families and professionals around the region. Initially started exclusively as a dental centre, Al Shamil Medical Centre is the brainchild of Dr. Shameer M.K.In 2013, the centre took a leap and expanded into a multi-care medical facility.

After graduating in MBBS from Kerala University, Dr Naseema acquiredher Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from The National Universityof Ireland, in 1988.

Her wealth of experience was gained while working with the Ministry of Health for over three decades in various capacities both in Dubai and RAK.

She was attached to specialist departments of Al Bahara Hospital, Dubai (Obstetrics and Gynecology department), Al Amal Hospital, Dubai(Psychiatry department), Saif Bin Ghobash Hospital, RAK (Pediatric Department as pediatric resident). Prior to her current role at Al Shamil Medical Centre, her previous stint was at Lifeline Medical Centre, Sharjah.

Dr. Bhagavan started his career as an assistant professor and professor of urology and acquired surgical skills in endo-urology. Over the course of his career, he has done more than 300 cases of ureteroscopy, stone blasting and DJ stenting. He regularly updates his skills and knowledge by attending conferences and workshops in India and UAE.

Amongst his important achievements include a multitude of successful medical cases of TURP, transvesical prostatectomy, Millin’s prostatectomy, radical nephrectomy, pyelolithotomy and extended pyelolithotomy, anatrophic pyelolithotomy, partial nephrectomy, ureterolithotomy, TURBT, cystolithotomy and bladder augmentation,varicocelectomy & testicular biopsy.

He is also well versed in several female medical cases related to VVF (vesico vaginal fistula) repair,

UVF (uretero vaginal fistula) repair, Stamey’s and Gitte’s endoscopic suspension and TVT and TOT sling operations.

In case of pediatric urology, he has done repair all types of hypospadias, surgery for undescended testis, including laproscopic, pyeloplasty, and urethroplasty.

Dr. Bhagavan has experience in transplant surgery where he has even handled cases of donor nephrectomy, as well as recipient nephrectomy and nephrectomy for shattered kidney, repairof ureteric injury after vaginal hysterectomy and bladder repair after traumatic rupture of road traffic accident and obstructed labor (uretero vaginal fistula) repair, Stamey’s and Gitte’s endoscopic suspension and TVT and TOTsling operations.

In his previous stint at Dr. Sunny Medical Centre, Sharjah he managed a panel of 18 dental doctors. In Kerala, he worked as a government dental surgeon for 4 years. He has also served as an assistant professor with Yenepoya Dental College in Mangalore.

It has been his vision that has helped Al Shamil Medical Centre to grow into a responsible health care service provider for the local community. A multi-linguist himself, he has hand picked several other specialists to join him in taking forward the vision and mission.

His impressive background in several areas of dentistry, capability to stay up-to-date with the latest developments and technology and humane touch in patient management is remarkable. In India he was involved in consultation and diagnosis of orthodontic problems, orthognathic case management, functional jaw orthopedics and corrections of dento-facial deformities, treatment of cleft lip and palate abnormalities, surgical assistance in maxillo-facial surgeries, rural health

She gained valuable proficiency with her first job at Bio Test Clinic Pakistan and her work experience in Ortho-Dental Clinic, Nepal with all the latest advancements in dentistry such as protaper, RVG, and implantology.
