Obesity is a diseaseNearly 70% of people in the United States are overweight. A third of us are obese. Carrying excess weight can cause life threatening conditions like heart disease, high blood pressure, sleep disorders, diabetes and even cancer. But there’s good news, just a modest reduction of 5-10 percent of your weight can reduce your health risks.

You’ll find support at Wilson Health to help you make the right decisions for you. We offer treatment options for medically supervised weight management, as well as surgery and aftercare. You’ll build healthy nutrition and exercise habits for weight maintenance. We also offer support along the way.

Am I overweight?

Waist circumference greater than 35 inches in women or 40 inches in men increases your weight related health risks.

Talk to your physician about your Body Mass Index (BMI)
