Michelle McClymont has earned a reputation for being a resource tosmall businesses during her almost 20 years as a business developmentprofessional and was instrumental in transforming the FlatbushNostrand Commercial District into what it is today. 

Now, Michelle intends to go beyond the confines of governmentbureaucracies and nonprofits to assist entrepreneurs at every level fromconcept to implementation through maintenance. On Monday, April27th at 10:15 p.m. she will be the featured guest on “Talk It Out RadioShow” on the FLO Empire Radio Station. She will discuss her careergenesis and trajectory and what it is like being a business woman intoday’s workforce.

Monday’s appearance will only be the beginning of what’s on the horizonfor this goal-oriented rising star. As an Entrepreneurial Consultant,Michelle will also author a column in Emerge Magazine where she willwrite on business development issues beginning this summer.

After appearing as a panelist at the Women in Business NYC’s eventhonoring Women’s History Month, Michelle decided to take a moreproactive role to make her expertise more accessible to a largersegment of small business owners wherever they live.

“My commitment to Brooklyn will always remain steadfast, but I knowthere are other business owners feeling pushed out by development andgentrification, I’d like to help them too,” Michelle said.

Her greatest passion is to ensure small business owners are alwaysrecognized for their contribution in Economic Development and to keepthose businesses vibrant and aware of their roles in today’s economy.Michelle is a graduate of the CORO Neighborhood Leadership programand has received several accolades for her achievements with EconomicDevelopment and Business Development including State SenatorWomen of Distinction and Women in Service Award.
