From my first project of leading the creation of a call center application for a consortium of airlines, to leading one of the largest digital transformation and innovation programs in the world that defines digital go-to-market for 80+ brands across 60+ countries, to creating a content management system that redefined how the government in a leading economy connected with its citizens and to building solutions that transformed how consumers of one of the largest global telecom providers bought products and how they were serviced. Each project has been a unique learning opportunity that makes me realize my hidden potential and awakens the game-changer within me.

An engineering and management graduate from the prestigious IIT, Chennai and IIM, Kolkata, Manu was looking for something beyond the peripherals of work and management. “I was looking for an organization that was culturally well-knit, had the cra� of doing things differently, and understood both technology and business. Like everyone else I was also looking for my ‘dream’ company. I tried a few set-ups but nothing clicked”, says Manu candidly. “It was around the year 2000 that Sapient caught my fancy. New business models were being created in the internet world and Sapient was at the center of all the action. It was one of the Internet Fast Five companies and was pretty much the talk of the town because of its open culture”, says Manu Vaish, Director, Program Management.14 years hence nothing has changed, except that we are a new breed of agency.

We have challenges that are equally complex and inspiring for the restless and curious, big thinking and big doing, type of people looking to steward clients in this age of digital disruption.
