I see furniture as just part of the picture of any space, but it is an important part nevertheless. It’s functional and endearing. I reuse metal and renew wood, and make them beautiful again for small spaces and urban life. Sustainable living goes beyond the ingenuity of purposing these materials. I advocate for sustainable furnishings and its eco-friendly production. It is a simple endeavor to produce furniture designs that have little impact to the environment. Production of green designs have positive effects in living and work experiences for the future, people and planet. So, I build kitchen systems, bar furniture and other furnishings that last for many years.
My ideas for sustainable kitchen systems, bar furniture and other furnishings featured in this catalog are all handmade in my New York studio. The concepts I developed combines handcrafted quality and eco-friendly sensibilities that nurture a greener future. I work with wood, stone and glass responsibly with careful selection, by staying away from harmful chemicals and teaming up with people living and learning to conserve valuable resources every day. WHY: CREATE DINING TABLES FOR SEATING OF 4, 6 AND 10 PERSONS

The grain of BIRCH wood is fine and pale in color. The shine is beautiful for furniture. It’s also the state tree for New Hampshire.
TIGER wood has a beautiful pattern of bronze to dark yellow-brown color and is used for furniture, cabinetwork, veneers and panels. Because of its rarity, only reclaimed or recycled tiger wood are ever used.
The MAPLE tree grows all over the world. This universal plant is a source for syrup and furniture wood. The maple is a tonewood, a wood that carries sound waves - great for making musical instruments.
WALNUTS are considered an herb in traditional Chinese medicine. Its timber is suitable for tabletops, furniture making and wood-turned objects, like bowls. The medium to dark tones are smooth to the touch after polishing its dense, tightly-grained surface.
SAPELE is known for its durable quality. The beautiful graining has a bit of shimmer and is used in limited qualities to maintain sustainable population of trees. Only reclaimed or recycled sapele wood are used.
WHITE OAK is relatively resistant to rotting which explains why these trees live for a long time. The white oak has numerous uses, especially in making furniture, popularized by the Arts & Crafts movement - where beauty and simplicity merged with function.
Tropical hardwood, TEAK is popular for its durable qualities in making doors, window frames, and outdoor furniture.
