Den Extraktor vorsichtig über das Fragment hinaus in
denWurzelkanal einführen. Bei der Auswahl des Extraktors istder
Durchmesser des im Wurzelkanal festsitzenden Frag-mentes zu
beachten (siehe Tabelle). Die Verwendung ei-ner ungeeigneten
Extraktorengröße kann zur Schädigungoder Reizung der Pulpa
führen.
Introduce the extractor gently into the root canal slightlyover
the fragment. Select the extractor’s diameter accor-ding to the
diameter of the fragment lodged in the rootcanal. Use of extractors
with incorrect diameter may leadto damage of the pulp chamber.
Introducir el extractor con cuidado en el conducto radicu-lar y
colocarlo por encima del fragmento. Al elegir el ex-tractor hay que
tener en cuenta el diámetro del fragmen-to atascado en el conducto
radicular (véase la tabla). Elempleo de un tamaño de extractor
inadecuado puede cau-sar el daño o la irritación de la pulpa.

El sistema de prevención de endodoncia sirve para agarrar y
sacar instru-mentos fracturados, p.e. instrumentos de conducto,
clavijas y clavijas deplata del conducto radicular en un proceso

fragmentos con diámetros de 0,15 a0,5 mm (MEITRAC I), de 0,5 a 0,9
mm (MEITRAC II) y de 0,9 a 1,5 mm(MEITRAC III) sin problemas. Para
remover fragmentos de los instrumen-tos de conducto radicular
(limas) sirve el MEITRAC I, en cambio el MEI-TRAC II se usa para
remover pivotes de obturación radiculares y clavijasde plata y el
MEITRAC III para fragmentos de clavijas radiculares. Todoslos
sistemas MEITRAC de acero inoxidable propio para cirugía permitenun
tratamiento con intervención mínima, conservando lo máximo
posiblela substancia sana del diente y creando por primera vez la
base para unaeliminación fácil y rápida de particulas fracturadas
del conducto radicular.El trépano sirve para posibilitar el acceso
al fragmento a remover. Esteinstrumento, construido especialmente
con dimensiones pequeñas, soloelimina un mínimo de la substancia
dental. Con el extractor se agarra sim-lemente el fragmento. El
último diseño de la mordaza de extracción dealta precisión facilita
una transmisión de altas fuerzas de tracción demanera que se pueden

With this endodontic safety-system, broken fragments can
begrasped and removed successfully, precisely, and quickly,
e.g.from root canal instruments, root filling pins, silver points
androot-posts from the root canal. These systems are designedin
such a way that fragments with diameters of 0.15 to 0.5 mm(MEITRAC
I), 0.5 to 0.9 mm (MEITRAC II), as well as 0.9 to1.5 mm (MEITRAC
III) can be removed safely. In this respectMEITRAC I is specialised
for removal of broken root canalinstruments (e.g. fragments of a
file), whereas MEITRAC II isdesigned for removal of defective
root-filling pins and silverpoints. MEITRAC III serves the removal
of root-post frag-ments in the root canal.All MEITRAC systems are
made of stainless surgical steel.They permit minimally invasive
procedure to preserve sounddental tissue from being damaged. Easy
and fast removal ofbroken fragments in the root canal can be
achieved. The frag-ment to be removed is exposed by the trephine.
This instru-ment is optimally constructed so that only a minimal
amountof sound dental tissue is damaged. The fragment can be
gra-sped easily with the extractor. The newly developed
friction-grip chuck enables the user to transmit traction easily so
thateven larger fragments can be extracted without problems.
MEITRAC I–III sind Endo-Sicherheitssysteme für das

ist MEITRAC I speziell für die Entfernung ab-gebrochener
Wurzelkanalinstrumente (z.B. Feilen) bestimmt,wohingegen MEITRAC II
für die Entfernung von Wurzelfüll-stiften und Silberstiften
entwickelt wurde. MEITRAC III dientinsbesondere der Entfernung von
Wurzelstiftfragmenten ausdem Zahn. Alle MEITRAC-Systeme aus
rostfreiem Chirurgiestahl ermög-lichen eine minimalinvasive
Behandlung und damit den weitge-henden Erhalt gesunder
Zahnsubstanz. Sie schaffen erstmalsdie Basis für eine einfache und
schnelle Entfernung abgebro-chener Fragmente aus dem Wurzelkanal.
Das zu entfernende Fragment wird mit Hilfe eines Trepansfreigelegt.
Dieser ist durch eine optimierte Konstruktion soklein gestaltet,
dass lediglich ein Minimum der gesundenZahnsubstanz entfernt wird.
Mit dem Extraktor kann dasFragment dann einfach gefasst werden. Das
neu entwickeltePräzisionsspannfutter ermöglicht damit die einfache
Übertra-gung großer Zugkräfte, so dass sogar größere
Fragmenteproblemlos und sicher entfernt werden können.
