The ACCA Pakistan – Members Network Panel (MNP) is a group of ACCA members who give their voluntary time to raise the profile of ACCA and provide support in technical work such as advising on the technical development needs of members, writing articles on subjects related to ACCA research & insights, and preparing a budget proposal. ACCA MNP comprises of 10 members who are based in different cities of Pakistan. Last year a member from Pakistan, Ayla Majid, got elected to the ACCA council for the first time.

In continuation of his vision of the future of accountants in an e-world, he chaired ACCA’s e-professional forum and has also worked with ACCA in IA on 2015 strategy.

Sana is an ACCA member with over 5 years of professional experience (Management, Finance, and Business Control & Internal Audit. She is currently working as theAsst. Manager, Postpaid operations at Telenor group. She has also worked as a Senior Finance Executive and as an Internal Auditor in the past.

She is a Partner at Berkeley Accounting Service and also works as a Manager at Waqas & Company, Chartered Accountants. In the past, she has worked for Plan International as Finance Coordinator and A. F. Fergusons & Co. Chartered Accountants in Assurance, Business Consulting and Risk Advisory. She is a member of the ACCA Pakistan – Members Network Panel, ACCA Global Forum for public sector and Chair, ACCA Pakistan MNP Subcommittee for Public Sector.

Currently working as the Head of Corporate Finance for Arif Habib Group, he is responsible for the Group’s corporate finance and investment banking activities and for overall planning, monitoring and evaluation of the Strategic Investments of the Group. He also serves as a Director on the Board of Crescent Textile Mills Limited, Safe Mix Concrete Products Limited and Reliance Sacks Limited (a Subsidiary of Pakarab Fertilizers) as well as Serendib Stock Brokers in Sri Lanka.

Amin has a vast experience of conducting audit and assurance engagements in textile, construction, engineering, chemicals, ‘Modarabas’ and not for profit sectors. He has taught at various leading colleges of Lahore from 2002 to 2012 and has conducted and attended various trainings on various forums including ACCA, IAP, ICAEW and IIA. He has also co-authored the accounting handbook for SMEs published by SMEDA and accounting handbook for small business published by the ACCA. Currently he is heading the Audit Department in the Lahore Office of the Firm as Director Audit & Assurance.

Trained in a London practice, Aamer became an ACCA member in 1988. Over the years he has held senior finance positions in diverse sectors such as advertising, manufacturing and financial services. In 2009, he joined academia and is currently teaching accounting at the FAST School of Management, Lahore. He has been closely associated with ACCA and has served on the Members’ Network Panel (MNP) of ACCA Pakistan from 2008 to 2012, and chaired its Corporate Governance, Integrated Reporting and Access to Finance committees. He is currently a member of the Small Business committee of the outgoing MNP.

He is the head of Investment banking at Jahangir Siddiqui Limited, a public listed company. He had been previously elected as a member of ACCA’S Members’ Network Panel in June 2012.

Khuram has been working for Ernst & Young Ford Rhodes Sidat Hyder Chartered Accountants since January 2007. He has completed various internal and external audits, advisory, accounting, procurement and special engagements. He also had the opportunity of being seconded to Al ALAMIYA for Cooperative Insurance Co. (Part of RSA Group) as Assistant Financial Controller from June 2010 to January 2011.

Fatima is an ACCA Member and currently working for Invest Capital Investment Bank (ICIBL) as the Head of Internal Audit. She has 7 years plus experience in audit. She has also worked for Ernst & Young Global and during the training period, she was involved in various assignments relating to audit, assurance and business consultancy and worked on reportables to the Senior Management and Engagement Partner. She has solid experience in designing the Internal Control system of various types of organisations using COSO framework.
