Sludge caking problem‐Flat sheet and Hollow fiber module
Incorrect aeration blocks design: The air diffuser is quickly clogged by sludge even if cleaned everyday(following the maintenance manual). Underline “Sludge caking Flat‐sheet membrane plate(element)” Without air bubble pushed in the space of each element, the element sludge will cake quickly.

Specially designed element insert frame and aeration block include non‐clogged membrane tube diffuser (Made in Germany) The air bubbles first diffuse in the full aeration block before pushing evenly into each space of the element and thereby ensure that the sewage flow upward. Excluding membrane negative pressure permeating will instantly turn into sludge cake.
After 2.5 years of operation, the membrane element still maintains distance without sludge caking
