30-45 minute meditation guide
TIME: 30 to 45 minutes per day, 5 to 6 days per week.
POSTURE: Sit on the floor, a bench or chair in a comfortable position in a private,
quiet room free of electronics.
GAZE: Softly focus on the floor about 3 feet in front of you. Let
your eyes remain open.
BREATHE: Turn your attention to the breath. Count each inhale and exhale until
you reach 10. Then, start over at one.
CLEAR YOUR MIND: Let go of any interrupting thoughts. Continue to relax and repeat counting to 10 for at least
30 minutes.
