Only one thing can subdue these acoustics – your own settings. Choose the “C” (Controlled Efficiency) transmission program and the exhaust flaps remain closed most of the time – giving the V8 biturbo a decidedly reserved tone during long journeys and in urban environments. But one push of the button to put it into “S” (Sport) or “M” (Manual) mode is all it takes to release the emotional sound of the AMG engine.

Cabriolet. The sky’s the limit.Every bend a challenge, every shove in the back a thrilling experience – the performance-oriented 4MATIC all-wheel drive is standard equipment* in the Mercedes-AMG S 63 Cabriolet and distributes the engine torque 33 percent to the front and 67 percent to the rear for the signature AMG high driving dynamics.

Stunning dynamics and outstanding individuality are also provided by the AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission. It offers several trans mission setups developed to meet the demands of a performance vehicle and to give the driver the opportunity to configure his personal transmission setup according to his driving style (“C”, “S” or “M”). The engine in the Mercedes-AMG S 63 Cabriolet is built by hand in the AMG engine manufactory in accordance with the philosophy “One Man – One Engine”. The engine, hand-built by one single technician, delivers 430 kW (585 hp) and maximum torque of 900 Nm, making the AMG 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine one of the most efficient production V8 engines in the world, based on power, torque and fuel consumption.

On the outside, too, the cabriolet sets new benchmarks with its design language and details. 19-inch, multi-spoke forged wheels, black flics on the front skirt and a front splitter in silver chrome define the exterior highlights of the AMG model. Take-back of end-of-life vehicles. At the end of its long life, you can return your passenger car to us for environment-friendly disposal in accordance with the European Union (EU) End-Of-Life Vehicle Directive. But that day is a long way off.
