Damon to initiate further discussion with 3rd Friday Committee and City - Damon shared update RE the 3 existing “Chamber Leads Groups”, $75/year to join, several groups are looking to recruit additional prof / service spots- CPAs, Attorneys, Marketing contacts, Roofers, etc. - please let us know if you know anyone interested in joining - Group would like to invite Lisa from the SH Spa to our next meeting to discuss collaboration with the Spa for events they are hosting, large groups, - goal is to increase collaboration for Downtown businesses to engage w/ Spa guests - Fantastic suggestion by Betsy to begin to schedule Qtrly “Community Business Forums” - possibly hosted at City Hall, in order to provide a Voice of the Community opportunity for downtown biz to connect with City Leaders - group will set a schedule for this in the next meeting - Susan/Damon to follow up on Chamber/MOSH Process to engage with new local businesses & new Chamber Members - making sure to have face to face contact within first several weeks Next meeting date: Tues, 10/8- 5:30pm @ the Chamber.
